Berger
Excellent accuracy down range
Its a Berger
Very consistent as always. Using them in my 16 ar15 and getting great results even with being restricted to fit within a magazine. Favorite mid weight so far, will definitely stick with them moving forward.
Extremely accurate
Great value in 1000 purchase. Very, very accurate.
great bullet
great bullet it does exactly what I wanted it to do. 22-250 26 in 1-8 twist barrel.
80gr VLD for Service Rifle
Excellent bullet. Use Berger in everything I shoot from my Tubb T2K rifle to my hunting rifles. Best bullets on the market in my opinion. Very accurate in Accross the Course HighPower competition. Have shot clean strings at 600 yards at Camp Perry, OH. Can be a little touchy on seating depth. I do not like soft seating, or pushing rounds into the rifling. I seat them .004" - .024" off the lands. Both are accurate. I moly coat mine in my service rifle, and Boron Nitride coat them in my T2K 6XC and 6.5 Creedmoor. I run 2600-2700fps in my 1:7.7" 20" Krieger barrel. I use Reloader 15 powder 23.5-24.0 grains. Just out of the Berger reloading Manual. Far better than Sierra, even though I shoot 77SMK moly at the other yard lines (factory loaded Black Hills). I can get Sierras for cheap, but I choose to shoot Berger regardless of price. A perfect score is worth the extra few dollars to me. I'd trust these with my life.
223Rem at 1000 yards?
I have a spacegun (a scoped AR15 with a 24" kreiger barrel) that loves these Berger 80 grain VLD's. It will shoot 1MOA at 1000 yards consistantly. I love these bullets, I have been using them for a couple years now and can't get enough.
Great Midrange match bullet
Shot a number of mid range matches with this bullet in a AR spacegun. Little to no recoil. Used less windage then some 30 cal bullets used in the past. Able to concentrate on shooting rather then recoil.Ran bullet about 2900-3100fps on a fishtailing day and stayed in 10 ring when I did my part.
