Vicker racker
Works well. A little awkward to install and take off. All my Glocks firearms have these...G26, G19, G17, G34, G27, G23, G22, G35, G40. Vicker makes good, solid enhanced parts for your Glocks.
Put a veteran back into shooting.
It had become difficult for an elderly veteran friend to rack his Model 19. Two minutes work and he can rack it now with ease. I did do a little light filing to clean up a sharp edge. This product had the right balance of not being too obtrusive, yet performing extremely well. I tell you, sitting side by side in the golf cart watching him grin from ear-to-ear while we banged the steel plates made this a no-brainer purchase! And most people don't even notice it's on the gun.
Simple and effective
I put this on all my Glocks. Its easy to install and it makes cooking with slippery hands a breeze. Its cheap and effective. Especially if you ever have to cook one handed. Works better than the rear sight in my opinion.
Best Glock Accessory Ever
The Vickers slide Racker fits in place of the OEM slide backplate. It greatly reduces the effort required to grip the slide serrations when drawing the slide back to chamber a round or to inspect the chamber prior to field stripping. The only caveat is that the ears of the Racker protrude about 1/8 inch past the slide on each side and can interfere with placement of a safety strap on some holsters; it depends on how tight the safety strap is to begin with. The slide Racker does not otherwise interfere with a holster.

These really make it easier to rack the slide and you don't even notice them in regards to concealability.
Easy Install, Haven't Shot With It Yet
*Have not livefired with it yet, will update when I do* Wanted a more subtle racker than some of the meat hooks I was seeing out there, as this is for a personal carry G19. I often carry in the woods in the winter while wearing gloves, and I prefer to not chamber a round out of an abundance of caution. I trust Vickers, so took a leap of faith on this new racker. Took a minute to install. There doesn't appear to be a specific install video that is easily found online as of this post, but other videos for other rackers will show you what to do. Looks slick, functions as expected when I racked my G19 and dry fired multiple times. So far I am quite pleased.
Bought for my G17 Gen5 Mos with optic
It should have been easy to install, like the factory one, but it was not. I was able to get it snapped completely on the slide, but then the slide would not slide all the way back over the rear rails. I used calipers & measured it, 1 of the rear slots was too tight. The other review was right, I had to use a flat file to make 1 notch a little wider to make it fit right. The engineer should have caught this! Otherwise, it now fits good & does help chambering a round with an optic.
Very good product, some fitting required
Purchased this for an older customer with hand strength issues. Worked great for him. The racker has small ridges that help with gripping the slide securely. It also has small wings on each side that provides a wider area for your fingers to grip. This gives you more leverage pulling against them vs. using only the gripping force of your fingers. I gave it 4 stars because I had to fit the bottom of the racker to go over and around the ejector. Easily done with a small file, but at this price, it should be a drop in part.
Help for weaker hands
I have installed these for clients that have issues with hand strength and racking the slide to chamber a round. It provides a better gripping surface and increased surface area to grasp and rack the slide.
