VICKERS TACTICAL CARRY TRIGGER FOR GLOCK®

VICKERS TACTICAL CARRY TRIGGER FOR GLOCK® Reviews & Ratings

The VTCT trigger assembly is molded in the exact same polymers used by GlockĀ®, for the ultimate in reliability, durability and compatibility. All pivot pins are 17-4 Stainless Steel, and splined for maximum retention when assembled. Because Tangodown didn’t CNC machine any of the assembly in aluminum with the customary hard-coat anodize finish, the VTCT won’t ever get hot after a long training session. The VTCT trigger is an insulator, not a heat conductor. It won’t abrade or create wear that damages the frame, possibly disabling the trigger safety. Since all of the geometry is molded in place, there are no set screws or adjustments to fail, leaving you with a dead weapon or one that ā€˜doubles’. The VTCT is easily installed in minutes by a Certified GlockĀ® Armorer.

  • Flat face shape allows for proper, accurate trigger press
  • Injection molded from same material as OEM factory trigger
  • Won’t get hot, damage your pistol frame or lose adjustment

We highly recommend that this product be installed by a Certified GlockĀ® Armorer. After any trigger work on your GlockĀ®, trigger bar and firing pin engagement must be inspected and possibly adjusted to proper GlockĀ® factory specification. It is your responsibility as the weapon owner/user, to guarantee your weapon is safe to carry at all times.

Users commonly report noticeable improvements in trigger pull, including reduced over-travel and a crisper break compared to the factory trigger. This enhances overall shooting accuracy, with many feeling more confident in their aim, as the flat face design contributes to a more consistent trigger pull.

Reviewers consistently mention the straightforward installation process, often completing it within minutes. Many note that the trigger drops in with little to no modifications required, making it an accessible upgrade for Glock owners without the need for professional gunsmithing.

Need for Minor Adjustments

This indicates a variance in factory finishing that some users felt needed attention for optimal performance.

Best for the Money
Maintains the original reliability of the OEM triggers but make the overall feel much better. The trigger feels snappy and the flat face makes it easier to ride the wall of the trigger when shooting fast. The polymer construction may not feel as great as a metal trigger, but after a few mags it did not warm from absorbing heat like a metal trigger will. For $40, this trigger is an exceptional upgrade and I will be cycling out all of my oem triggers for these.

Nice
Excellent trigger with a smooth pull.

Much better
Easy, low cost improvement to cheap P80 trigger. Trigger safety function is improved. It did require the removal of some material from the trigger bar to align.

Best trigger for the Money!
This is a great improvement from the OEM, much comfortable whether you like a flat face trigger or not. The OEM is uncomfortable due to the safety blade being too sharp/hard and painful and after actuating the trigger, the safety blade doesn't go flush thus causing lots of discomfort to say the least; not with this trigger, the safety blade is the right size not too big not too small, nice and comfortable and when depress, it goes flush so no discomfort whatsoever. It almost have the perfect geometry, meaning once depressed to the 1st stage (oem Glock triggers are a 2 stage trigger) the trigger sets at almost a perfect 90 degrees while setting on the definitive wall (depending how you have or how you like your trigger i.e. definitive wall or rolling style break; this is accomplish by the geometry of the connector) I like mine like the OEM style, 1st stage hits a definitive wall, then a crisp clean brake (depending on polish or no polish trigger assembly and or connector style) This trigger alone is 3 time better than OEM, and if you are like me and know how to do a trigger job (very easy and fun) I can have the same trigger feel and pounds as an Apex Tactical and all I spend is $40 on this trigger, the rest is an hour or so or polishing the right parts! I know cause I have them both and since I discover this trigger I stop wasting my money of aftermarket triggers. Now, some people compare this with HIGH End triggers made of aluminum and give this trigger 4 star! don't be ignorant, you can't compare apples to oranges, any aluminum trigger like Hyve or timney feels better and more solid cause they are metal, this is polymer which there is nothing wrong with it. Easy to install and is the go to trigger for all my glocks.

Can't beat it for the price.
I have two of these triggers now. I purchased the first one for a compact glock that I carry. It has a much better feel than the factory trigger, less over travel and is easy to install. The only complaint I have is that it needs a little deburring but that is easy taken care of with a razor and for the price you can't beat the fit and feel of it.

Good Trigger
I gave this 5 stars because it met all my expectations for a polymer trigger shoe of this style. It was well executed, simple in design and works exactly as advertised. I'm sure ZEV and others are very nice systems but I haven't tried them and they are WAY more expensive. This is my first "flat faced" trigger and I really like it. It was easy to install and the price point was very attractive. It lightened the pull weight by about 1/2 pound if I pulled from the very end of the trigger (I assume that's because it's easier to place the gage a little farther from the pivot point without the curve). The take-up and reset feel very similar to the OEM as far as I can tell. The reach to the trigger face is slightly shorter and my finger feels much more solidly purchased on the trigger face throughout the entire arc of travel as compared to the OEM curved face. Overall I am very happy and I have purchased several more.

Great Trigger
I installed this on my Glock 23 that I have converted to 9mm. It works like a charm. Smooth action and tested it for all safety protocols. Easy to fit and install and needed no modifications. The fact that it is a flat face seems to eliminate the left or right pull that throws your shot off the mark on the OEM Glock trigger with it's rounded face. . Highly recommend it.

Better control and comfort - great price
This mod is for anyone that has ever shot a Glock has wondered why their index finger is sore after shooting for any length of time. Or if you wonder why am I pulling to the left when practicing dry fire. This Vickers Tactical Carry Trigger is the answer to many things. Namely, no more irritated index/trigger finger. Once you watch a Youtube video on removing the stock trigger pivot pin, the installation is easy and quick. Most importantly, the flat face trigger has allowed me to have a better, more consistent trigger pull that the stock trigger did not. This is the BEST mod that I have made to this gun.

Good Value For The Money
Trigger dropped right in with no modifications or adjustments needed. The Firearm passed all safety checks after install. The original trigger on the 19X has a blind pin and you will need to mill on the side of the trigger to allow the original pin to be pushed out. The only negative is that the tip of the safety blade is on the sharp side. It can be polished without compromising the safe operation of the safety blade. Feels great when shooting the weapon. This went on my EDC weapon and was a great addition. The rest of the pistol is stock.

Best trigger for the money!
Have four glocks, just finished switching all with this trigger. All other brands are a little more costly, but this one fulfills the same feel without the expense. I like the fact that its polymer much like original, but the flat gives the trigger a whole new feeling. Ive always used the oem Glock trigger bar with these triggers and have not had any issues of reliability.
