Venom reliable rugged

This is the third Venom I have purchased and the third handgun about to join its brothers. I am pretty rough on my equipment and the Venom handles my use with ease. They have never failed me. Just wish they came with a green dot for my getting older eyes.

Just what I wanted

I bought this Venom mostly because it was one of the two called out for the Ruger 57 and I like Vortex products. It took awhile to get as evryone apparently wants these but finally got it six weeks later. Now it is backordered again so glad I got it when I did Easy to install, and while I have not shot it yet the dot aligns perfectly with the slide sight just above the front sight on the Ruger. saw some comments on target sighting depending on what 5.7 ammo you use but will see when I get to shoot it. Live in the SW desert so might be awhile. I am going to chance calling this one a 5 based on what I have seen and heard about this Venom. Glad I got the 6 MOA dot, perfect size for my old eyes

The vortex venom six moa Red Dot sight is a very nice sight and I own three of them I've never had any complaints about clarity of glass or the sight holding zero. The only thing that I don't like about them is that they never have advanced to the shake away technology and that is why I started buying the Holosun Red Dot sight.
