Great Sights.
I bought these for a G43 and the tritium is super bright. I had these on a G27 and loved them for general day shooting, too. Expecting to do the same with this one. Metal build except for the rods and their bedding. Front sight went in easy using a front sight tool (I used this one: https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/handgun-tools/sight-tools/enhanced-front-sight-tool-for-glocks--sku080001364-117628-213254.aspx?sku=080001364 ). Rear sight was tight. I would recommend getting one of those Glock rear sight tools (~$100) if you plan on installing these on any number of Glocks.
Replace my 10+ year old Meprolight
I like the orange rear site with the green front site. Old site where from the factory and only green.
Better than Factory Night Sights
These are brighter and the dots are larger than the Glock factory night sights. I have these on all my 9mm Glocks. Tried the Glock factory night sights once, but quickly swapped them out for Meprolight Tru Dot sights. I have several sets installed on pistols that still glow bright after more than 8 years! Installed this most recently purchased set on my newest Glock! Durable, high quality, long lasting and easy to install. Highly recommend these!
Much Improvement over stock sights.
I bought a 43X, because my Glock 19 was starting to get heavy after a few hours. I do not like the standard sights that Glocks come with, I like 3 dot night sights. This is about my 3rd go around with Meprolight sights. I really like them & shoot better with them over the stock sights. I thought these were a good value & would buy again when I buy another Glock. Thanks, Mark
Great Sights
I bought these to complete a G17 build and they are terrific. the sights installed easily in minutes using a sight pusher tool for the rear. The dots are bright and really easy to pick up in low light and they present as clear and easily visible white dots in well lit conditions. The solid steel construction makes these sights very robust and sturdy and the profile is small and unobtrusive. I confirmed the alignment of the sights with a laser bore sighting tool and the elevation of these is dead on from 7-10 yards. I haven't tested these with live fire yet but I'm sure they will be fine. I would put these on every build where I wanted night sights.
Great budget night sights.
I switched my stock Glock 30S sights for these and I couldn't be happier. I used a Starret brass punch to knock the old ones off and started the new ones with a C-clamp and centered them with the punch. I get increased accuracy plus night sight capability. Best improvement to my favorite Glock for cheap money.
Great sight pictur - Easy install
I installed these on a Glock 23 in about 10 minutes total time. I do recommend using a sight pusher instead of the punch and hammer method. I've tried both and a sight pusher is the way to go. The sights have clearly defined dots that in bright light appear to be white. There's plenty of light around the sides of the front post when viewed through the rear sight for my aging eyes to see easily. In even a slightly darkened room the tritium dots begin to be visible. In suburban night time conditions the dots are brightly glowing and prominent (I have the green front and rear model.) I have a set of Meprolight tritium sights on another firearm that are approximately 6 years old with no noticeable loss of brightness. I'm on the Brownells website writing this review because I came to buy another set of these sights. I can't give a better recommendation than that.
Fit/Finish Great along w/ Function
Order these for my new custom Glock20C, 10MM. I was able to use my MGW sight pusher to install these on my Glock20C slide myself. No machining needed. I really like the level of brightness these provide and especially like that they are specifically designed for the full size frame Glock20 10MM. Buy with confidence.
This is my "go-to" sight
I own several sets of yellow/green by Mepro. I was hesitant at first to use a different color rear, but find its easier to see the front green sight under low light conditions. The yellow is still bright enough (more than orange) to line up the 3 dots, yet it is still distinctly a different color than all 3 green which can get confused.
Great combination of colors
The green front sight contrasts well against the rear yellow sights, but is not too much contrast. Unlike some of the other color combinations, this one also carries the full 12 year warranty. Installation is fairly easy with a sight adjustment tool.
