Great Upgrade

I installed this on my Arsenal milled receiver after upgrading the Trigger Group. This is so much easier to use than the factory "spring," especially during the removal & installation during the adjustment of the Trigger Group to my desired settings.

If your trigger pin keeps walking itself out and causing issues, this is your fix. I am not that familiar with the AK platform and was Googling solutions when I found this. It's quite simple. That little spring that it comes with is garbage and doesn't do a thing. This little plate took all of 1 minute for me put it and works great.

Saiga 12 with modification

Worked in a Saiga 12 with a little fitting. had to slightly oblong safety hole and flatten top to clear rails. i expected to fit it. It works great is tight and was easy.

Fits Egyptian Maadi

This fit my Egyptian Maadi without any fitting required, and it is much more secure/reliable than the original "shepherd's hook". Not to mention a lot easier to install than the original hook!

Fits my O-PAP

I put this in my Yugo O-Pap and it didnt appear to need any fitting. It went right in and appears to be working as designed.

AK retaainer works perfect

Works just as described and super simple installation. This part really makes assembly of the AK fire control group a snap.

One of the greatest things ever made!!!

I will always buy one of these retainers before every build! The only negative was that I had to use a dremel to cut out a notch after adding a side mount for a scope. It would really be great if the notch that I had to add was already cut in so that I didn't have to do it!

Good stuff. Fits Russian Saiga MK-03

Purchased it for my Saiga MK-03. Installation takes 3 min. Works well - similar to the stock spring, but now it is much easier to assembly/disassembly trigger group.

worked and fit well on my mak 90

Slipped right in with the tapco double hook trigger group. Did it job of locking the pin in well. Easy to install and well built quality product.
