Compromises safety; light primer strikes

I bought this Wolf competition spring set from Brownell's for a Glock 34. First, the trigger reset does not engage completely, which creates an unsafe condition. Secondly, I had about 10% light primer strikes on some Winchester white box ammo from Walmart that I had shot a couple hundred rounds with the same Glock 34 the weekend before and had no issues with the stock springs. I replaced the 4 lb Wolf firing pin spring with the stock spring and the trigger tab safety engages as designed. I will shoot it at a USPSA shooting match tomorrow to see if the light primer strike situation is also solved. (I gathered the ammo that had light primer strikes, and shot it successfully through a Glock 26 with factory springs. Only one round wouldn't fire.)

Beware of light primer strikes,

As many others have stated, this kit can produce a failed trigger safety situation. It was only after I installed the Lone Wolfe Ultimate trigger that I could safely use all 3 springs in the kit. However, I find that I have about a 20% FTF rate (light strikes) which is unacceptable in any situation and I had to reinstall the factory striker spring. I do use CCI primers which may well be the issue here as they are known to be harder.

Not for competitions

By installing all three springs trigger pull becomes much lighter. Have used the kit with G17 Gen.4. But as others have mentioned too the trigger safety will not re-engage if trigger is pulled slightly and released again. I use only safety plunger spring form this set. One of the remainig two could also be used. I also have the minus connector installed. Neat kit to improve your G's pull but keep the risks in mind!

Works, but compromises trigger safety

With these springs and a 3.5 lb. connector, my Glock 21 has a silky, smooth action. But as said before, this kit causes a tremendous safety concern. Partially depressing the trigger and releasing it does not allow the trigger to fully return, and the trigger safety will not re-engage. The extra-power trigger spring is the main culprit. Unsatisfied with this condition, I reinstalled the factory trigger spring, and the trigger safety now works as it should. And at some point, I will reinstall the factory striker spring since my Glock is used for HD and I don't want to risk a failure to fire from the reduced power spring. I still think it was worth trying and I'm anxious to test it at the range.
