Time Saver
Unbelievable time saver. Hammer and sear are right out in the open.
No-brainer must-have item
If you want to save time while ensuring proper fitting of your sear and hammer on your 1911, these two pieces are a must. You don't have to install everything back in the gun before you can "feel" the sear-hammer interface. You can be sure that your trigger break will be smooth with these two pins while the sear and hammer are outside the gun. You won't regret this purchase.
A Major Time Saver
These pine are great! Such a simple idea but very, very useful. They allow you you to put your hammer and sear in position externally to check the quality of the work you are doing on the hammer and sear. I used these to great effect in doing the trigger jobs on four of my 1911's and I can't tell you how much time they saved me!
Handy Tool-Works Great!
These pins are so much easier to use than the old drill-bit way. They have fit perfect in every 1911 I've tried them on so far,and make the job of verifying the hammer/sear interface so much easier.
Pins were rusted and badly corroded
Ordered 2 sets of 1911 adjustment pins. Both sets were rusted and had extensive corrosion on the diameters that were meant for insertion into the frame. For the price this is beyond disappointing. The Brownells supplier is a miserable vendor.
