Excellent addition for rifles
Added this product to Streamlight TLR-1S HP and used the remote switch (100-010-589WB). It's an awesome combination for a home defense gun. It's on the very end of my Magpul MOE Handguard, on the bottom, and has a very intense output of light. It produces a very large cone of light, with a super bright spot in the center, almost like a big laser spot. It might only be 200 lumen, but it sure seems far brighter. I wouldn't put this light on a pistol, only because you'll never find a holster to wear it with (unlike the non HP version, which has dozens of compatible holsters). But on a rifle or shotgun, you can't go wrong.
