Shim Spacer fit perfectly
Purchased this shim spacer for my Colt 1911 lightweight commander and it fit perfectly and did the job as advertised. My trigger pull went down close to 1 lbs and a lot smoother. If you have a standard series 80 1911 whether Colt or any of the clones get the standard size .057 shim.

Excellent Series 80 to Series 70 Conversion Shim
Well made. Perfect fit. Normal function.
Installation was not difficult. (It requires a little patience, but once you get the Sear Pin through the Sear/Disco/Shim/Frame, the Hammer Pin lines up easily and you are good-to-go.)

Trigger ++ now
Got a deal on a used series 80. Trigger was okay but little stitches. This par made it perfect!!!!!! I purchased all three sizes to make sure I had the right fit…not too tight, not too loose. Highly polished the one I used. Very simple and elegant fit. One last thing…not an advisable part for conceal carry. You could be in trouble in court.

Curious About These?
Well I was, have been since first reading about them. I’ve had a Taurus 38 Super for 20 odd years. It’s always been a fine shooter but that little extra pre-travel in the trigger has caused me to wish I had an affordable way to clean it up a bit. The Taurus frame is milled differently from most other 1911’s, so it didn’t just drop in and sit in place. It doesn’t require any fitting, just a little more aggravation aligning and starting the pins. I don’t know of anything I could have done for anywhere near this small amount of money to bring me this level of satisfaction from this pistol. It did lighten the pull a little, but it did away with all the creep. If you’re on the fence, go for it.

series 80 delete is great
takes the slop out when removing the transfer bar safety.
It can be a bit challenging to get it to stay in place but once I discovered the proper angle to insert it in the frame.
