Well made and finish fit great
Needed this so I can find muzzle break easier very limited on 9/16x24 pitch thread got stainless type because barrel and brake stainless when u use 2 different alloys thread corrode together over period of time no need to pin and weld. Fit well thread on easy use high temp anti seize on threads make it easy to remove to change out later. price was right and had right threads pitch happy they they had in stock save me on ordering muzzle break I had on hand.
Simple But Effective
At first was surprised on cost of other adapters by (insert Guchi type brand name). So searched around thinking there was better sources for thread adapter. After seeing how thin this metal is it makes slight sense. Machining this would have probable loss of pieces after quality checks. Ill also say this is the 21st century and your metal used is only so special. Here I would say this part is reasonably priced and machined well and conservative on foot print. However due to thin metal be cautious on torque applied and maybe a dab of loctite to barrel. Rely on threading of actual break. Also picked up the black version, not sure why review has stainless version showing. Either way same part different color.

A necessary part
Have you ever looked for a 9/16-24 muzzle brake? Scarce as hens teeth! But if you get this simple little adapter, you have a ton of choices in 5/8-24 thread. This adapter is thin enough to be almost invisible, but flats make it easy to install and remove.
Really handy
I've used five or so of these in the past year where people wanted a 5/8-24 thread on a lighter profile barrel. I always double check for concentricity and haven't had a problem yet.
Good idea
had a 6x45mm barrel in this 9/16 x 24 thread pattern and trying to find breaks in this pattern is hard. Alexander Arms uses this pitch but hard to get parts. well they make lots of breaks in 5/8 x 24. problem solved. mounted a break and everything works great!
Good product
Basic thread adapter that does the job at a reasonable price. Only complaint is that the female threads were a little rough and would not go on the barrel until I chased the threads with a tap. Male threads were fine.
