Good Upgrade

This is a great upgrade for your rims and shotgun even though the installation isn't easy by any means. this adds more surface area makes it more tactile definitely worth the upgrade.

Decent value

Easy to install with minimal tools. Probably could Macgyver it in without the recommended tools, too. I haven't tried the domed kind, but this one seems like it is a good compromise between a factory safety you can barely feel and a safety you can disengage a little too easily.

Great Addition To My New Three Gun Build

Just installed my new scattergun safety on my new three gun 870 build. Easy to install, works great, will probably buy another for my other 870. Came with the "red" painted off safe indicator. For all the cry babies who couldn't figure out how to paint the red indicator, with a little red modeling paint and a toothpick, you probably shouldn't be installing something as important as a shotgun saftey.

Safety strip addede

The new one I just received comes with the red safety strip added to the fire side. It is now perfect.

Easy upgrade

A true drop-in part. Easy upgrade to the small, hard to manipulate factory safety. Like others have said, the only downside is that you have to add red to the "fire" side, which takes all of a few seconds.

I have installed this product on every remington I own. It works great on 870's , 1100's, 1187's, even my Grandad's old 742 Woodsmaster.Easy to install, works perfectly and the finsh and fit of the product are perfect.
