Redding T7 extra heads
This is my 3rd T7 extra head, love setting up each head for a specific cartridge. Storage is easy and it's a reliable joy to use.

I have four of T-7 turrets its very nice to leave your dies in place and never have to change them out and reset them.
perfect addition to the T7 press
I have 3 turrets set up with 6 caliber die sets. Once the dies are set up for your particular applications, just swap the turret to move to a different caliber. Easy to swap and easy to use. I use a rifle caliber and a pistol caliber on each turret which utilize all the die holes 9mm/5.56, 45acp/6.5 Grendel and 44mag/ etc. I use a turret stacker to store the turrets not in use on the press.
Detent Ball Likes to Scoot? Try Grease.
I use a very, thick in consistency, grease (LPS brand, 500 Plus), (most any heavy grease will do), to lubricate the turret bushing, turret bolt, sliding metal to metal surfaces, detent ball seats, detent ball and spring. Try to apply it (a cotton swab is useful on the sliding surfaces), only where it's needed to avoid unnecessary cleanup. A little goes a long way. Shove a dollop of the grease down into the detent spring hole. Due to the adhesiveness of the grease, the detent ball tends to stay stuck to either the top of the spring or to the underside of the turret head while lifting it off. If the ball should drop off anyway, the grease remaining on the ball, keeps it from running very far. Works pretty well for me, and I'm a grouchy old cripple, blind in one eye and can't see out of the other! Perhaps this will work for you as well. Good Luck, Bronco
Setup once
It's so nice to have to just set the dies up one time and go. If you have a T-7 you'll want more and at Brownells great prices you can't go wrong. This is my 3rd one!
Time
After spending about 2 hours adjusting a difficult set of dies, I concluded that buying extra turrets was the way to go. I didn't want to do that every time I wanted to change calibers to reload a few bullets to try to see how they shoot.
Redding turret head
Built super strong. Nice to set up dies and leave them so there are ready with the swap of a head. I have nothing negative to say about it, it's a redding product, you pay for the quality that you get! Will be buying a few more down the road. The press is top notch also!!!
Strong, Accurate, Repeatable
It is a perfect addition to the Strong, Accurate, Repeatable Turret press. This saves sometime in the reloading process. I can see no added runout in the rounds produced with this interchangeable top. I use it for 1000-yard F-class ammo, hunting ammo etc. I wish I had bought this sooner. Just follow the directions on changing the top so you do not loose the detent ball.
Perfect Add On Turrret
This is my second Turret for my Redding T-7 press. Swaps out easily and both turrets return to the press perfectly. Allows for keeping your various die sets adjusted for your favorite load. I found them to very repeatable. Note: you do need to keep an eye on the detent ball, which balances on a spring, when removing and replacing a turret...not an issue unless you knock it off the spring, as it could get rolling off the bench. I use a Redding turret stacker to store unused turret/die assemblies.
