This press is awesome. Smooth as silk and heavy duty all in one.
Redding T-7
This is one of the smoothest and consistent press I own. I love to load with it. I load 30-06 and 223/5.56 along with occasionally loading my handguns ammo.
A Very Solid Beast
This is a very solid and well built press. It seems to be as precise as a traditional single stage with the added advantage of additional die locations. I also have a Redding Big Boss II and wonder why I didn't spring for the T-7 to begin with. This may be the prefect press for load development. Once I have a load, I can switch to one of my Dillons for large quantity production or just stay with the T-7 for smaller runs (probably up to 500 rounds or so). The only possible improvement I can think of would be to add bushings to the turret head so I could use Hornady Lock-n-Load bushings and have quick change options without having to buy additional turret heads. Not a big thing but would be nice.
This thing is a Tank !
I'm a new loader, and I have a Lee BLPro. I wanted this to improve on rifle ammo. This beast looks to be precise, and feels solid in movement. It will crush concrete, if you wanted it to. I mounted it on the inline Fabrication quick mount stand, so I can move it when I need the bench for other work, or another press mounted. So far, I'm impressed..no pun intended..
Awesome press!
Great turret press, solid as a rock! Buy one, you wont be disappointed.
Best reloading press I've ever owned
There seems to be a shortage as everything seems to be on back order nowadays. But this press was well worth the wait. It was a toss up between Redding's T7 press or the Forster Co-Ax press. I chose this one for it's solid construction, accuracy, ease of use and open top which is compatible with my Redding concentricty dies that use a dial indicator. The Forster would have interfered with that process. I still waiting patiently for an extra turret and turret stacker still on back-order... I may still pick up the Forster down the road, but I'm very happy with the Redding T7 Turret press.
WORK GREAT!!!
Works great when reloading several calibers . Not adjusting Dies is a plus.
The Best.
I've had RCBS and Lee Turret presses. This is the real thing. Heavy and extremely reliable. Cast iron or steel, everything that matters. I wish I had purchased this first. I have been reloading many years. Expensive but worth every dime.
What A Press!
After digging thru the various options for purchasing a brass cartridge reloading press, it became obvious that there was only *ONE* really, really good option -- the Redding T-7 turret press. It was an "expensive" option for the first, and hopefully, only, press ever to be purchased by this reloader, but it was also obvious, from inspection upon its delivery, that the Redding T-7 press was worth every penny spent. Fit and finish are virtually flawless. From top to bottom, a truly magnificently crafted piece of equipment! That's impressive, to say the very least. Its single and only drawback is the manufacturer's dismal lack of comprehensive documentation and use instructions.
Amazing Tolerances!
When you bolt this press down and operate this press you will know where your money went. I really wish l had made this investment earlier.
