SYNTECH ACTION PISTOL 9MM LUGER HANDGUN AMMO

SYNTECH ACTION PISTOL 9MM LUGER HANDGUN AMMO Reviews & Ratings

Shooters who compete at the highest levels need ammunition built for the demands of their discipline. American Eagle® Syntech™ Action Pistol is specifically designed for the action shooting sports and loaded to power factor requirements with heavy, flat-nose bullets for more reliable knock-downs on steel targets in competition. Like all Syntech loads, they feature the exclusive Total Synthetic Jacket (TSJ™), which prevents metal-on-metal contact between the bullet and barrel, eliminating copper and lead fouling as well as reducing damaging heat and friction. Combined with clean-burning powders and the Catalyst™ lead-free primer, Syntech Action Pistol provides the softest-shooting and most reliable performance possible for high-volume competitive shooters.

FEATURES:

  • Official ammunition of the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA)

Not truthful
I saw this product on line and ordered it right away. I got a order number and then a confirmation number with a shipping number. My charge card showed a waiting transaction for the charge. Two days later I looked for the shipping status and got a notice it was canceled. Poor inventory management on Brownells part. Need to do a better job in counting.

Not Ready for "Prime" time?
I will say that the ammo shoots soft and is accurate. BUT I have experienced 3 failures to ignite primer in 3 boxes. The first one while checking the first box. The next 2 during an IDPA match (with downloaded mag - so NO room for malfunction). Dead primers have no place in ammo designed for "action pistol". I will attempt to contact Federal for recourse. But very disappointing considering this ammo was purchased exclusively for competition. BTW it was not a "light strike" - tried the dead ones multiple times with no luck and there are nice deep firing pin indents on the duds.
