19-6
Ran into a NIB model 19-6. Not easy to do in my state. The stock trigger was excellent, 10.5 lb DA and 3.75 SA. I was very pleased but decided to try the standard kit to see if there was any improvement. Installation was a snap. I went with the 14 lb rebound spring. DA is now 9.25 lbs and SA at 3 even. It is even smoother in DA now.

Excellent upgrade for 629
Bought this to reduce trigger pull weight on DA and smooth out DA/SA trigger for my 629. It does exactly that. Now I can shoot DA all day long as it reduced the weight significantly. Both DA/SA also feel more smooth than the factory. Also bought C/S extra length firing pin in case ignition problem, but it's not needed at all with 15 pound spring. Great stuff

EXCELLENT
Brought a 1960's S&W Combat 41 Mag back to outstanding performance. I have WAY TOO MANY firearms. Oxymoron ? Tho the description says "by Brownells", these are Wolff Springs and I use and trust said Wolff's in every firearm I own because they are EXCELLENT and that is again... WAY TOO MANY !

202 Spring Kit
I picked up a NIB 629-6 for hunting, field carry, & defense. As usual out of the box, the SA trigger was adequate but a bit rough and the DA so heavy my trigger pull gauge couldn't display it. My upgrade priorities were sure ignition with a variety of primers due to spotty availability of components, safe clean breaking reasonably light SA pull, and a safe smooth reasonably light DA trigger pull. I used the Brownells 202 Spring Kit (standard rate Main Spring) and an Extra Long Firing Pin with outstanding results. Using the 15 lbs Trigger Rebound Spring I achieved a clean breaking 4lbs 2 oz SA, smooth 8lbs 4 oz DA, and the extra length firing pin yielded 100% ignition with every make & type of primer I tested/load including the Large Pistol Magnum that is so notorious for being hard to ignite. All parts fit perfectly and installation was fast & easy (disclaimer: I have several decades of experience working on S&W revolvers but a noob basement smith with some patience should have no problems). Couldn't be happier with the end result, were it allowed I would have 100% confidence in this handgun for duty carry. Once more, great products from Brownells. Thanks!

Great Set
Great product. All parts fit well. I added these in conjunction with trigger job. Very smooth. The best part of this kit is the full strength hammer spring. I have shoot all types of ammo and in 1000 plus rounds I have not had any mis fires.

Big improvement over stock springs
Just ordered my second Pro-Spring Standard Kit for a S&W revolver. This kit offers significant improvement over the stock springs without the worry of iffy ignition which can be the case with a lighter than standard spring kit. This kit can readily be put in by a basement gunsmith but if you've never done it before, watch Brownell's short instructional video on how to do so a couple times. If you still are not confident a smith can drop this in for you in a couple minutes. I installed my first kit w/o problem or modification. This is an inexpensive, quick, and easy way to smooth up your S&W revolver's DA and lighten it's SA trigger pull...

Needs additional parts for 686
I purchased this for my S&W 686 Plus. It installed easily. The double action trigger pull was much improved. The only problem was light primer strikes which is unacceptable. I called Wolff Gun Springs as they make the springs. They said the 686 needs a longer strain screw due to the power rib design. They sent one at no charge. Brownells may be aware of this but I did not contact them. They should add a note to the description stating a longer strain screw is required for the 686.

Week main spring
While the rebound springs work as expected, the main spring was VERY weak. The trigger weight was 8.5 lbs on double action and the single action was 3 lb. Neither of which gives sufficient striking power to ensure reliable primer detonation. I do not recommend this kit.... These are WOLFF springs. The main spring is advertised as "Power rib mainspring type 1 - STD power" which is far from weight of the Smith main spring. I went back to the customers S&W main spring and with careful grinding and polishing was able to reduce the very heavy factory weight to ensure reliable detonation.

Light Strikes in 686-6
I installed the mainspring and 14 lb. trigger return spring in a S&W 686-6 (7) shot Revolver. The mainspring was noticeably lighter than the stock spring. There is no way this is a standard spring. I experienced light strikes (failure to fire) in about 1 out of every 7 shots. The trigger pull was great, but thats not an acceptable trade-off. I put the stock mainspring back in , but left in the 14 lb. return spring, which did make a small improvement in the trigger pull.

poor quality
Had a hard time installing the mainspring when i tried to pull the hammer the mainspring hit the rebound slide and would not let the sear engage and the end of the spring bent, rebound springs are smaller dia than original and fit in the slide sloppy but does seen to work alright not impressed
