Great barrel
Dropped in easily as a replacement for M&P 9 2.0 - 4.25" unthreaded barrel. Accuracy/grouping atleast on par with OEM barrel, might be slightly better at 10m
A fine threaded barrel, but does not fit all S&W M&P9 pistols
I have multiple models of the S&W M&P9 pistol. I found that the extractor of the M&P9 Metal impedes this barrel from going completely into battery and, therefore, is not suitable for the M&P9 Metal.
I fits and works great in the M&P9 2.0 with accuracy commensurate with the OEM barrel. Recommend a light application of Locktite 242 (blue removable) to the threads as the thread protector nut will become loosened during firing due to bullet rotation torque.

M&P 9 barrel
Great product, solid barrel made from silencer co. I have a M&p 40. This barrel does drop right in and fires just fine. Still collecting data on grouping. So far at 25 yards all in the black for a drop in. No barrel wiggle or slack while slide is forward, loaded or unloaded. Threads fit perfectly on my suppressor. Can't ask for anything more.
Nice barrel: poor fitment
As others have stated this barrel is manufactured with such tight tolerances that it will likely not fit without modification from a gunsmith. It's listed as a drop in barrel. Brownells tried to make it right by sending a second barrel which I experienced the same issue with. After growing weary that a third barrel would fix the issue I was only refunded a partial amount from Brownells with nothing to show for it. Pretty disappointing in both highly regarded company's. Shop accordingly.
No-Go for M&P 2.0…………
Does not work for M&P 2.0…… didn’t even hook up inside the slide. Starting the return process now…..
