Great Product
This sear brought my 2.0 compact down to a 4.5 pound trigger pull without having to change any springs that might reduce reliable ignition. It improved take up slightly, but I don't mind that on a carry gun. Definitely worth a try if you want a better trigger with no loss of reliability.

Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Just what I wanted.
I was not looking for a crazy light trigger, wanted it to be in the 4lb-4.5lb range. The simple installation of this sear in my 2.0 9mm was exactly what I was looking for, It cleaned up the trigger reset as well. I polished up the striker block with some 1000 grit paper while I was at it. Really enjoy this on range day now.
High Quality Machined Sear
Much improved sear profile than stock. Removes the worry of stoning thru the hardness of the factory part to acheive a better trigger let off. Was still an improvement over the factory sear in my Pro Series CORE
awesome upgrade
Together with the ultimate striker safety, totally changed the gun! Ive been a Glock shooter mostly. That has changed now. Glock is now in the back of the safe and my M&Ps see all the shooting!
Must Have Part for the M&P 2.0!!!
I have 2 M&P 2.0's and this is a must have part!!! The M&P 2.0 is a really nice gun and changing to this Sear makes it a lot better! The reset is unbelievable!!!
Its great!
Installed this in my M&P 9c which had a really heavy trigger from the factory. My Lyman gauge said it averaged 7lbs 5oz. After only the Apex sear (no spring changes or any other mods), my five trigger pull average went down to around 5lbs 13oz, and the break is extremely crisp, and the reset is more pronounced. Im a happy customer, especially if another ounce or two comes off after it gets broke in a little.
Definitely reduces trigger pull weight.
Installed in a brand new M&P40c 1.0 that came with an awful 7lb trigger that was gritty. Install was easy and pull reduced to 4.5lbs with better reset and less stacking. Much improved! Trigger still gritty so more polishing and use is needed, but the 2.5lb reduction in pull weight was remarkable.
Big Difference
Bought a MP Shield 9 when they were released in early 2012. Always felt the trigger pull was on the heavy side after "hitting the wall". After recently talking to a S&W trained gunsmith and trying his apex installed triggers, I decided to purchase an Apex sear. I prefer to keep my guns as near to OEM as possible thus did not want to replace springs etc. What a difference! Just replacing the sear was enough. Trigger is more pleasant to operate. Just right for a self defense carry gun. TIP: if you feel comfortable in replacing yourself - watch Apex's video a few times first. If not - a gunsmith trained on S&W firearms will replace in hardly any time at all.
Better than expected!
Love the short and I mean short reset!!!
Just WOW
All I can say is wow. I installed the sear in my mp Shield 9 and the trigger pull is so light it almost frightened me when I fired it for the first time. It dose what it says. I don't have a gauge, but it is very apparent it's lighter.
