Simple Sights
Not sure if the Brownells slide or the sights were out of spec. Maybe both. After shaving some off the sight, it still took considerably effort to install the sights.
Tall and Narrow
These are iron sights at their most basic- without white dots, tritium vials or fiber optics. However...
When needed they stand out in perfect contrast against the screen of my RMR with the red dot turned off or on. That is, the overall picture is not too 'busy.' The front sight is notably narrow and in combination with its height and the width of the rear notch- everything lines up quite well. The RMR's red dot sits nicely over the front sight.
I am quite happy with these and another set will go on another pistol. Of course, your personal preferences might vary from mine but as an older, long time shooter who is new to pistol-mounted RDSs, this is a fine set-up...
Solid RDS Backup Sights
These are a solid option for backup irons on RDS equipped Glocks. I have had these on a few pistols. With an MOS slide and CHPWS mounting plate these give a perfect 1/3 cowitness with RMRs and a Holosun 407. They are the perfect option for the MOS system in my opinion. Recently got a Brownells RMR slide and tried them on that as well. With a Holosun the sight picture was just a little lower than absolute co-witness. With the RMR it was pretty much a true absolute co-witness. This isn't my preference so I changed them out. Not a knock on the quality of the product, just my observations in use.
Perfect with my HS507
Solid, straight forward sites. If I put the dot of my HS507 in the center of the viewing area these are absolute co-witness. If, however I view slightly above the center the sights become 2/3 co-witness. These are stout and well built. I would suggest that if you do NOT have a site pusher (I do) you would be well advised to get a pro to do the install.
Just what I needed
I like the simple look of the sights. The black front sight doesnt distract my eyes from the red dot.
Great sight set
I mounted these on a Brownell's G19 slide. Front sight mounted easily, I was able to mount the rear sight with a brass punch and hammer. The rear sight was snug, but I didn't have to file or otherwise trim the sight; all in all, not that difficult to install. This sight set gives an excellent sight picture. I mounted these in conjunction with a Trijicon RMR, and they give an excellent co-witness without any dots on the sights to distract from the RMR red dot. The dot sits directly above the front sight post. I found these sights to shoot to point of aim. Very happy with these sights, and they are very reasonably priced.
Awesome sights
These sights are awesome at a very goo price. They get the job done. I am currently using these sights with a brownells glock 17 slide and RMR. It is a perfect co-witness. Very easy to install as well.
Great value
Good fit on the brownells slide, used for sights with a rmr.
Sights for a dedicated cut slide
This sight set is the perfect height for an optic with a dedicated optic cut (Trijicon RMR in my case). If you have a Glock MOS or any other system that use an adapter plate, youll need taller sights than these (check out Ameriglo GL-506 sights).
Perfect height for RMR on Glock Slide
These sights are the perfect match for an RMR, on a cut out, on a Glock Slide.
