Bore mops
I was expecting these bore mops to be made out of cotton or felt but they are made from more of a synthetic foam/sponge-type material. This is fine as they will perform just as well and accomplish holding the Butch’s Bore Shine in the barrel for thorough cleaning. Very satisfied with the product.

Swab-Its bore brushes
I was introduced to the "Swab-it's" bore swabs / cleaners about a year ago at my local gun shop. I was skeptical, at first, as to how well they would work & hold up with use. I didn't start using any until around 6 months ago. I purchased the 5/6 count packs in multiple caliber sizes to accommodate most of my firearm collection. I like the way these bore swabs work in absorbing & applying bore solvent down the entire bore. They really allow solvent to soak into all surfaces of the bore. I prefer using M-Pro 7 and Bore Tech Eliminator (no odors and both work quite well at removing carbon fouling / copper deposits) and the "Swab-Its" do a great job allowing full coverage when you push them thru the bore. The "Swab-Its" do a great job of grabbing & holding onto the fouling deposits. Clean up is pretty straight forward. I just use a squirt of liquid dish detergent to wash the swabs, rinse them with water and then pat them dry with a paper towel. If you were using a petroleum based bore cleaner one might have to use a stronger cleaning method. So far these swabs have been working well, holding up well and really do make my bore cleaning easier and more thorough with less effort. I still use patches and bore brushes but the "Swab-its" are a nice addition to my cleaning regimen. I recommend you try them. If you like them they sell larger packs of 25 or 36, in some calibers, making them more economical to buy.

Excellent product, used all four sizes with both Hoppies and Sweets and had no problem. They did an excellent job and I will re-order when needed.
