This product works excellent and works fast . Good deep penetration into the metal. The more coats applied as directed the deeper the color and luster.
Excellent product
This is an excellent product if your touching up small areas or small parts providing you follow the directions! That's the most important part of getting a great finish. I have the hot tank bluing set up, but sometimes it's not feasible to use them. If your unsure about using this product, there are some great YouTube how-to videos that will guide you through and help you get a great finish.

I use it to restore the bluing on guns. i blued about35-40 guns with this 32 ounce size. It lasted me about a year and I do most of my work in the winter. When it gets too bad to get out and do anything. Very Good product.

I used this on my nylon 66.I sand and polished my metal to a very shinney finish.Wiped down with brownells cleaner.And started every coat of bluing, 8 times buffing at every coat with 0000 steel wool and a polishing rag.when each coat dries it dried like car wax just buff off..take your time no rushing..Looks Great.....I did not need this on my barrel no rust there..Like This Job. My first Gun from 1967 looks great again.Thanks Brownells
Great Liquid Blue
Was requested to strip and blue and old Smith & Wesson revolver for a customer and he insisted that I use Super Blue instead of my hot blueing system and now that I have used this stuff I will probably only use my hot blu system till my salts run out then just stay with this stuff. It has done a really remarkable job.
This stuff Works GREAT!
Easy to apply and blends right in. If you have some rust and you have to sand or wire brush it off and get rid of it and find yourself looking at bare metal, this stuff will bring it back looking GREAT! Doesn't hold up like original, but I have now complaints at all.

Another product which is similar works 100% better. The BC brand a good alternative.
Does a good job.
This product is easy to use and does a good job reblueing bare metal. Recently re-blued a Rem 700 chrome-moly barrel...required about 3 or 4 swabbings with this and a light buffing with #0000 steel wool. It isn't as pretty as a hot blueing, but it certainly is sufficient if you have a firearm to blue and can't afford a hot blueing set up. I recommend buying the Perma-Blue kit as well...it has the degreasing and blueing/rust remover and they both do a good job as well.

If you follow the directions carefully you will get a nice finish second only to professional bluing.

Used this on a shotgun barrel I had a bare spot on (due to rust that was sanded off) and it came out great. It was a dark black barrel and the match couldnt have been better. Easy to use if a tad messy.
