Steel cases fed well. Packages not so much.
Went to my nephew’s farm to shoot. Fed these through a Beretta 92fs, XD9 and a Glock. No problems. When I received them the boxes were ripped open with a couple of rounds rolling around in the box. The flap from one box was over another. I don’t think Magtec was to blame. I’m disappointed in Brownells for letting that slide.

winter ammo
I use steel cased ammo in the winter because I lose the cases in the snow when shooting in winter and so the cheaper steel cased ammo works great for that. I use brass cased ammo in summer when it can be retrieved for reloading

Great
Runs well in multiple firearms of mine. Isn’t too dirty and is much cheaper than the next cheapest 9mm. Big plus is it not being lacquered. I’ve run 3+ cases of it with no real issues

Not your average steel cased ammo
I've always been skeptical of Russian steel case ammo that is usually covered in lacquer but this new Magtech 9AS is definitely a game changer. When I first opened the box, it almost looked like nickel plated brass! Shoots very well and very clean. This might start to replace my brass ammo for plinking at the range.
