It worked all right, but...
I purchased the .039 punch from here and used to remove a rear sight pin. It worked, okay, but it took some effort just to thread the threaded cone onto the body of the punch--it doesn't thread easily, so it took six attempts to install it. (The threading could've been better.) I'm not sure if this is a manufacturing defect that affected my punch only or whether they're all made this way. My advice is to be _really_ careful when attaching the cone that its threads mate correctly with the body's.
