Nice part

Exactly as advertised. looks nice. Requires you to drill precise holes all in a line parallel to the bore. Precise measuring, drilling, tapping is required. This part goes OVER the stripper clip cutout, so you do NOT need to file it away.

Solid Base for the M98

This is a nice solid base to mount your scope on. It uses three holes instead of four for the two piece bases. I like the Leupold turn in style of rings and this make mounted a scope with those rings a snap. This is good if the receiver has been drilled incorrectly as you might be able to move the mounting holes so that you can can a clean spot to drill. I always fill in abandoned holes with plug screws first before tapping. Usually the front two holes can be used with this mount. Buy this only if the charger boss has been removed.

Hard to find except at Brownells

This product was hard to find, I needed it to fit a Ruger long action M77 Leupold made a great product it fits perfect.
