Improved but not perfect
Helped. Smooth it out and better reset.
Lowered then pull wt by almost a pound.
Howere the break is still lousy.
A good Improvement
This trigger kit reduced the pull weight from 6+ lbs. to 5.5 lbs. In addition, the flat face trigger prevents trigger bite on my finger. Worth the money, but if you want to do the install yourself, be sure to watch the videos on the Apex Tactical website.

Great upgrade
I was hesitant at first to install this trigger. The Hellcat with the OEM trigger issue just annoyed me while target practicing. I bought this trigger and followed the steps in the website video. Make sure you have a vice because it will assist in the pin install. After it was installed and function checked, I could tell a big difference in the pull and the binding was gone. I would recommend this product.
Springfield Hellcat Trigger
I use my Hellcat for EDC lots of rounds in a small package. That's why the enhancement trigger. The trigger that came on the gun was horrendous, if you didn't put the small end pad of your index finger on the trigger correctly, the safety lever would stop the trigger form being depressed. The new Apex trigger stop all of that and I now have a 5.5 to 6 bl. trigger pull. And much more reliable.
Nice trigger upgrade!
I have not shot the pistol but it dropped the trigger pull from 7.5 to 5.5lbs it feels smooth and crisp. It was pretty easy to install by watching videos. I can't wait to go shoot it when we have a nice day above the forty's or at least a nice sunny day.
Better than factory
Watched a youtube video of the people at APEX that made this install easy enough. After install fired 150 rounds, would have liked to fire more but couldn't due to current ammo demand. My break after install is right at 5.5 lbs. My factory pull was about 6.5 lbs. Nice metal construction over the factory plastic. Fixes the side trigger pressure issue that can cause trigger to freeze with an improper trigger pull. The APEX trigger makes a good pistol great. Brownells had the best price on internet.

Followed the install instructions on apex site...no problem.....nice improvement over the original trigger.
Smooth, crisp and clean.
Much better than the standard trigger the Hellcat come with. The take up is smooth and the break is crisp. I'd say the trigger pull is about 5.5 - 6.0 Ibs. Price is an outstanding value and the parts are well made. Highly recommended for your Springfield Armory Hellcat.
