Good Practice Ammo
Good velocity; no malfunctions in Colt Competition; clean brass; good alternative to Federal American Eagle and WW "Brown Box" (mil-spec). I gave it Five Stars for what it is - 45ACP for range and practice. Recommend WW Ranger, Speer Gold Dot, and Federal HST for self defense.
This work great
This time was perfect for target shooting
Great Buy
Great price, quick ship and proper packaging from Brownells. Always a good experience shopping Brownells.
Great range ammo
Great range ammo and the reloaders like the brass to take home. An excellent price also.
target, outdoors, shooting range works
There may be a round or two that are off target but overall very good performance for the price. And yes, they can be reloaded.
Weak Ammo
I've been running this ammo side-by-side with factory reloads and Blazer 9mm. It is noticeably weaker with the amount of recoil that is felt through my pistols. This was also confirmed with little amount of muzzle flash seen with this ammo at dusk when compared to other brands. I've had issues in otherwise reliable pistols such as my CZ-P10C and my MP5. My Sig P226 seems to run it ok but with noticeably weaker recoil. I would not recommend this brand of ammo when others such as Aguila, Blazer, Remmington, and Fiocci can usually be had for very close if not the same price.
Good Range Ammo
Accuracy: 8/10 Failure to Feed: 10/10 (Zero out of 800 rounds) Failure to Extract or Eject: 10/10 (Zero out of 800 rounds) Failure to Fire: 10/10 (Zero out of 800 rounds) Powder: 6/10 Very dirty, can irritate your sinuses and your gun will be very dirty compared to Winchester ammo Reloadable Brass: I will come back and update after Ive reloaded the cases When this ammo is on sale, I think its a great option. If its not, I would buy the Winchester instead mainly for the cleaner burning powder and great brass for reloading.
I don't like it.
I have fired a couple of boxes of this .45 ammo. I had some misfires and flakes of unburned powder. That may have been a bad lot, but I won't use this ammo again.
