I Like It!
I use my Spitfire on a custom 10/22. That's not at all overkill when the top five scores are above 97% at 100 yards. My weakness is focusing too closely on the X-ring and occasionally giving my competition an excellent shot. The Spitfire has huge field of view so I can verify the correct target. The sight is, small, light, easy to use and extremely accurate. The Spitfire is exactly suited for my shooting.

Optic itself, is welll designed, Con: the lens caps arent the best. I like the etched reticle Incase of battery failure, still can use it.

Can't go wrong with Vortex products.
Mounted it on my Diamondback DB15 chambered in 5.56 Nato. Exactly what I was looking for. The lighted retical is sweet. I've used the range retical out to 300 yards on a 10" plate. Works perfectly. This is the third Vortex product I currently own. Great products!

Near perfect...
Pros: The glass quality on this product is excellent. I've run it in 2 pretty brutal matches so far (drops & bumps, mud & pouring rain, crawling through sand, etc) and it has held up quite well. I've made shots out to 600 yards in multiple weather conditions and I was able to be confident in those shots because of how good this glass is. The weight is low, the included mount feels high quality, and sales/tech was top notch when i contacted them before buying it to ask some technical questions. The finish seems pretty durable so far. Turrets seemed solid and easy to adjust. Cons: The only con for me is that the turrets are 1moa per click. I really would've liked at least 1/2 moa clicks, as I found when truing up at 600 yards that i was about a 1/2 minute off on my windage. For that I took off a star. Misc: The included scope caps work, but aren't my preference. Because of the external geometry, you won't be able to securely mount a flip cap to the front. The eye relief is short. You'll end up mounting this at the back of your receiver.

Vortex sight
I returned this to Brownells because it would not hold zero. This is the first and only Vortex sight I've ever had an issue with.
