Excellent addition to the 10/22.

A perfect addition to the 10/22. Fitment and functionality is flawless. So much easier to charge the bolt with your left hand after swapping mags. Honestly, Ruger should be installing this charging handle on every 10/22 they produce.

Helps a lot in charging your Ruger.

Simple to install, it allows charging your action with a lot less fumbling. I recommend such an extension.

Great upgraded CH

This is a great upgrade to the standard charging handle. It installs easily and operates just as well as the OEM part. However after using this, I believe I am going to invest in the volquertsen bolt(with integrated charging handle). I with either keep this in a mostly stock 10-22 or give to a friend.

Great option for the ol' 10/22 from Brownells. Easy to install and a great functional add-on. Gives extra pull length without being awkward. Looks very nice! Solid construction.

Spartan Charging Handle

I have a Spartan Charging handle on my target 10/22 that I shoot in completion and love it. It is a smooth operating addition to my platform. It adds the needed length to charge the gun quickly and effectively without having to change my position. I would recommend this product to not only the target shooter by the small game hunter. It will make operation of your 20/22 with gloves or during wet conditions flawless. This is the second one I have purchase and it is a gift to a family member.

Smooth beautiful upgrade

One of the best extended skeletonized charging handle available today. It has the perfect curvature and size that is easy to operate. Sharp corners are rounded and smoothen up and the lightening slot adds to aesthetic. Drops right in for a perfect fit. The chrome finish is slick and smooth when operated. Great price tag. Highly recommended.

Part out of spec for bolt clearance

This part looks great and appears to be working after some grinding and resizing. The retainer end of the guide rod was too great in diameter. It held in place but did not allow for enough clearance between the retainer end, when seated in the notch at the back of the receiver, and the bolt. Due to this, the bolt could not move far enough to load a round, and certainly would not have been able to eject a round if it had loaded one. The solution was to grind down the diameter of the retainer. The oem part has a retainer that is the same diameter as the spring. The Spartan I received had a retainer that was visible larger in diameter than the spring.
