SOLVENT BOTTLES

SOLVENT BOTTLES Reviews & Ratings

Our plastic solvent bottles are invaluable for the storage and application of your cleaning solvents. Each of our two bottles comes with an applicator flip-snout cap and a solid cap for storage.

The Sinclair Tall Solvent bottle is high-density polypropylene which we have fluorinated to resist even the strongest ammonia and oil based products. The bottle measures 5" tall x 1-5⁄8" in diameter and holds 4-ozs. of solvent.

Our Sinclair Short Solvent bottle is also high-density polypropylene but it is not fluorinated. Many shooters prefer it for their cleaning boxes because of its lower 4" tall x 2" in diameter profile, this bottle also holds 4 oz. of solvent.

Great product
Great alternative for solvent in bottles, saves on solvent use. Having multiple solvents I just wrote the brand on each bottle with a sharpie to identify. This is definitely a must have product!

Hi quality solvent bottles.
These are hi quality solvent bottles at a reasonable price. Drip cap allows for easy pouring of solvent into the solvent well of my bore guides without spilling the solvent on to the rifle.

Make Cleaning Equipment So Much Better
First of all, the containers are not deteriorating under solvents that normally reside in a metal or glass container. The best thing is the dispenser cap. I can now control the amount of solvent that I apply to a patch or a bore brush without contaminating the rest of the bottle by having to dip to cleaning tool in the solvent bottle. It is very easy to dispense a small amount or a large amount with the squeeze bottle.

Excellent, no-leak bottles
I have been using these bottles to hold my solvents for years. They store and transport well in my cleaning box. I carried them with me to matches when I shot benchrest. I still carry them to the range with me. They fit in my cleaning box well, don't leak, and last forever. Strong solvents don't phase them. Can't find these in the store, so I am ordering several more!

Great little bottles
These come with two different lids, one with a pour spout and one solid. I use these to put some solvent on my patches in the solvent port, works perfectly.

Taller Is Better
I had already purchased *many* of the shorter, fatter 4 ounce solvent bottles and used them for years, simply because they are less likely to get tipped over accidently on my cleaning bench, compared to these taller bottles. Only belatedly did I discover that the plastic used in the shorter is NOT "fluoridated" (or words to that effect). As a result, a few of the more aggressive solvents can "attack" the plastic and "leach" something from them, changing the COLOR of the solvent, *possibly* contaminating the solvent and/or reducing its effectiveness. The taller bottles, being "fluoridated, prevent this from happening. For that reason, they are better. (The shorter bottles *should* be fluoridated, too, and I have no idea why they are not.) BOTH types are very convenient via their tip-open spouts which permit you to dispense exact amounts of solvents or oils directly onto the cleaning patch. No waste. No mess. The regular caps (included) also secure the bottle well for storage in your "Range Box" without leaking. I recommend both.
