Carbide drill #31
I have not used this # yet, I am replacing another brand that did not do the job and was way too short, but it is 2" in length and if it cuts like the #28 I used on a 03A3 receiver, it's worth the price. Thank you
Solid carbide drill
Nothing is more irritating than trying to get a scope base drilled in a hardened rifle receiver and having the hole oversized due to drill walking. This carbide drill solves that problem handily. Bites right in!

Last resort
Works well for drilling out stuck plungers. This is the bit you go to when all else fails.
When the going gets tough
Great for drilling out stuck plungers. Works well on hardened receivers as well. If you work on firearms with any regularity you ought to have one in the shop - someday you'll be glad you have it at hand.
case-hardened Krag receiver
I used this bit to drill a Krag for a receiver sight. It cut through it like a hot knife through butter.
Worked as desired!
Bought this after various attempts to remove a broken tap to n a receiver. Tried all the broken tap removal tools. There is truly no tried and true solution tool. Everyone breaks a tap - so one might think THE fix it tool exists. Bottom line is with some patience, a slow hand/feed, this bit worked as I needed. Good luck with your broken tap.
