Marlin magizine barrel band
Easy to install. Be sure to get the correct diameter for your lever gun. Good quality.
Sling Swivel
Well USA made product.
work as intended
Product could be improved by coating inside of cylinder part of clamp rather than having an insert/piece of tape to keep it from slipping. Next one I install I will likely coat with something/epoxy to stop it from slipping. Did not have time to wait on this one.
Fits a Henry pump
The usual Grovtec quality. I'm using this set on a Henry pump 22 rifle; fit is good, and it's great to have the option to mount a sling.
Not sure about the mag tube barrel band
GrovTec is a great company that manufactures in Portland, OR, but I'm not sure about the barrel band. It didn't tighten down very well, even shimmed it with a plastic strip they included. We'll see how it performs, I've got an extra stud from another set and I may just drill that in the fore-end rather than risk a swivel coming loose. It's probably fine for a carry strap but if you are using the sling to steady your aim at an Appleseed shoot the pressure on the strap will probably make the band slide. I'd stick with the studs next time.
Fit and works ferfectly!
This fit my Marlin 336 35 Remington perfectly. Comes with great detailed instructions on exactly how to install. A needed asset for a lever action because the wood foregrip is to thin to drill and instal a screw in sling base on. Great product.
Not sure yet.
As another reviewer posted, adjusting this is a bit tricky. I put this on a Remington 550-1. It didn't slide, but it rotated on me. I've adjusted it several times now, and it might be okay now? I'll know more after a field test.
Perfect for my Marlin Glenfield 30A
I have a 30A but the package says it works on a dozen or more rifles. A well made quality item. Very easy to install. Has good instructions. Don't hesitate to buy this item.
Excellent product
This worked beautifully on my 9422. I am very impressed with the quality. I'm a former tool and die maker, and life long home hobby gunsmith, so it was easy for me to install without looking at instructions. But I wouldn't be surprised if the average guy has some trouble installing and getting it adjusted correctly. I only say that because I don't have much faith in most peoples mechanical ability and common sense. Please don't take offense. Some of you know what you're doing.
Traditional Swivels
Inherited a Winchester 94 and wanted sling swivels on it. Made a beeline to Brownells looking for a set of these. One of the swivel release mechanisms is a bit stiff so I gave it 4.
