SLIDES WITH RMR CUT FOR GLOCK 19®

SLIDES WITH RMR CUT FOR GLOCK 19® Reviews & Ratings

Optic-Ready Enhanced Slide With Unique Ergonomic & Performance Upgrades

The Brownells RMR Slide for Glock® 19 Gen3 pistols is the ideal upgrade for your factory G19 or the perfect enhanced slide for a brand-new custom gun built on a compatible frame from another manufacturer. This slide features a pre-cut slot for easy, secure, low-profile mounting of a reflex red dot sight that fits the Trijicon RMR footprint. If you're not mounting a red dot at the moment, we've included a lightweight polymer cover plate to neatly fill the slot. Our RMR Slide comes with standard-height front and rear sights, which can serve as your primaries or as backup "iron" sights when paired with a red dot sight.

You can get your Brownells RMR Slide for Glock® 19 Gen3 with the standard solid top or with a "window" cutout up front that enhances air flow to cool the barrel - ideal for hard-working action competition pistols. If you have an upgraded barrel with a contrasting finish or a unique exterior pattern (fluting, spirals, flames, etc.) the window lets you show it off! Or install our ported barrel for Glock 19, and combustion gas venting from the barrel ports through the window will counteract muzzle rise and help you keep the sights on the target for subsequent shots. There's no need to install a bulky compensator on the muzzle, which means your new comped pistol will still fit standard holsters for the Glock® 19.

FEATURES

  • Fits Gen3 Glock® 19 pistols & clones
  • Built-in mounting slot for reflex sights with the Trijicon RMR footprint
  • Factory front/rear iron sights installed
  • Optic slot cover plate & recoil spring assembly also included
  • Machined from 416 stainless steel billet, black Nitride finish
  • Available with traditional Solid top or distinctive top Window cutout
  • RMR mounting holes are threaded 6-32 TPI

Each RMR Slide for Glock® starts life as a billet of 416 stainless steel that is machined to Glock® factory specifications inside, so it’ll accept factory or aftermarket barrels and internal "small" parts. Each slide comes with a tough, wear-resistant black Nitride finish. This slide fits standard Glock® factory G19 frames and compatible aftermarket frames.

On the sides at the rear, you'll find distinctive wide, shallow cocking serrations that give excellent "purchase" to rack the slide, plus a mirror set of serrations up front that aid in manipulating the slide to press-check the chamber. Both sets of serrations make it easy to manipulate your pistol's slide from any angle and in any position. And we'll admit it: these serrations just look cool, too!

Whether you're doing an ambitious "built from scratch" custom pistol or you're upgrading a factory Glock 19 for enhanced versatility, a Brownells slide is the perfect component for your project!

Great product
I just saw that this product only had 3 stars and felt that was indicative of the quality of this product. I have 3 of these for G19 and G17 builds, and they are great products at a great price point. I have used other slides to try to save a few bucks, but will only use Brownell slides going forward. Reasons for this: they seem to dimensionally be very close to factory Glock slides. All the parts fit internally like a factory slide. These fit Glock holsters with zero modifications to every Glock holster I have used them in, from Blackhawk Serpas, to Glock factory holsters and any of the after market concealed and duty holster for the appropriate Glock model. The finish is incredibly tough as icing on the cake. If you’re looking for an awesome slide for your next Glock build, just buy these slides. You won’t be sorry, I trust these implicitly.

Good quality, flawless function
Outstanding value for the function and quality you get. Dropped a Agency arms precision barrel into this slide and it shot well and ran flawlessly. 400 rounds so far with no malfunctions.

G 43 slide barrel combo
Fit and finish are great. I love the flush crown barrel.Witg the ports helps keep the muzzle down. Will order again.

G17
Bought this to pair with an SCT frame. The backplate didnt fit over the sct frame, so i had to replace the backplate, then it slid on. Thats more due to the sct frame than the slide. The slide does not have raised lugs like the rmr footprint is supposed to, but an rmr optic still fits. Overall, for the price it makes for a decent range toy.

Great slide but no recoil lugs for the Optics
This would be a great slide, but it's missing recoil lugs and mounting screws for an RMR optic. The optic cut sits nice and low, which I like, but the fit is a bit loose. That's really my only complaint—otherwise, it's a solid slide.

BATTERY ISSUE
I’ve had consistent issues with both an OEM barrel and a silencerco barrel - the slide will not reseat properly into battery. I’ve shot over 600 rounds with the slide and I’m still having the issue. You have to push the slide forward into place in order to fire. The longest string I was able to fire without the issue was about 15 rounds. Sometimes as often as every 2-3 rounds. Issue is present regardless of ammo - 124g Speer gold dot, 124g blazer brass, 115 Magetch, even had issues with a suppressor. Also having issues with the slide locking to the rear. Not sure if it’s tolerance stacking or a defect but definitely not reliable enough for conceal or duty carry, just a range plinking toy which is a shame because I bought it to have a RDS slide to conceal carry.

Glock 19 Slide Review
Went to the range yesterday to test the slide out for the first time with a red dot. Lubricated it properly before using as well. Unfortunately I experienced MULTIPLE (10+) light strikes as well as a few times where the slide locked back with rounds still in the magazine. My weapon has zero modifications done to it and bone stock out of the box. I then put original slide back on to make sure it wasn’t an ammo or grip issue and had zero problems. Not sure if some tolerances are off but this was pretty disappointing. Slide itself didn’t have any external flaws but this is for my carry gun and I don’t feel too comfortable knowing these issues could happen at any time. For the price it’s okay, but wouldn’t recommend to anyone using in a self-defense/carry situation due to the lack of reliable cycling and firing.

The finish stains easily from oils and cleaning solutions, mine arrived with marks that won’t come off. The recoil spring looks very similar to the stock one but is much worse, it prevents rounds from cycling and the slide locks often. I replaced the recoil spring with a genuine Glock one and it runs much better.

eh
finish is fine. looks good and i paired mine with the brownells ported barrel. they didnt include screws for my rmr to go onto the slide, so i'll have to reach out tomorrow. additionally theres no boss lugs for the rmr to sit on so its just being held in with the screws. no raised sights is also a miss. it wouldnt be if they didnt imply in the discription that the normal height sights can serve as a back up sight ("or as backup "iron" sights when paired with a red dot sight."). the sights on this arent tall enough to clear the body of the rmr so you'd never be able to use them once you have the optic mounted. this is probably going back to brownells unless I can get the screws and higher sights

G19 slide
Has an angle tapper at bottom that wont allow the slide catch to engage, comes with plastic recoil rod.
