Sinclair Speed Screw

Sinclair Speed Screw Reviews & Ratings

The Speed Screw replaces the rear leg in the Sinclair Rifle Rest. It is used for high speed vertical travel between the record target and the sighter target, and for quick fine-tune vertical adjustments. All stainless steel construction and quality machining make this product work flawlessly. NOTE: 3/8"-16 thread Speed Screw works with Gen II Sinclair rests, Hart, Bald Eagle and others with 3/8"-16 leg threads. 1/2"-20 thread Speed Screw works for the new Sinclair Heavy Varmint Rests and Sinclair Competition Rests.

Speed Screw
Added to my Sinclair Heavy Varmint rest with windage benchrest top. The adjustment from sighters to record target is much quicker.

A nice upgrade.
Purchased for use in a Bald Eagle rest. A superior improvement over the factory rear screw. Less side to side movement, more precise elevation adjustment. A worthwhile addition.

works great!
it works as it should. there is no sideways movement in adjustment like the original screw. there is enough adjustment up and down for a benchrest target. highly recommend!

Nice Addition
I bought it to use on my Bald Eagle rest. I had to re-tap the threads on the base of the rest to accommodate the 1/2 x 20 threads of the Speed Screw, but it was worth the time and effort. It moves smooth and accurate and I am very satisfied with the everything about it.

Sinclair
Speed screw worked perfectly. Left 4 stars because for $100 it should come with a knurled jam nut for setting depth on the base.

Sinclair Speed Screw
Works nice, could have been tighter fitment of the rising stem to body to remove gap. Works good I am using for bench rest so it makes me looking for tight tolerances. Also, Not real fine adjustment as could be. But good and available.

great when new
last attempt to give a detailed review was blocked by firewall. basically after a few years the fit between the center pin and body become sloppy causing the rest to wobble
