Didn't Work for me
I have a Howa 1500 and the bolt is very similar to a Remington 700 but apparently, not similar enough for this to work.

This tool works perfectly to remove ejector pins from Rem 700 pattern bolts. A tremendous value too.
You need one
If you are a big fan of bolt action guns (who isn't?) you owe it to yourself to pick up one of these tools for the workbench. Works on the Remington as well as a few other brands. I made a insert for a Weatherby in a few minutes on the lathe. For that deep cleaning or broken spring replacement, this is the right tool for the job. No more crawling around on the floor looking for that flying plunger.
Easy to use and works well
Really helpful for dual ejector bolts. Works exactly as its supposed to. If you remove your ejector with any regularity this is a good tool to pick up.
Rem. 700 ejector tool
I purchased the Sinclair Rem. ejector tool to accommodate my Kleinendorst firing pin & bolt dis-assembly tools. This tool makes removal of the ejector pin and spring a controlled / much easier task. Works with both .223's and .308 bolt assemblies. Well designed tool that I highly recommend to anyone who owns a Rem. 700 and does maintenance on their rifles.
