SINCLAIR FIRING PIN REMOVAL TOOL FOR REMINGTONS

SINCLAIR FIRING PIN REMOVAL TOOL FOR REMINGTONS Reviews & Ratings

Our bolt disassembly tool makes removing the firing pin, spring and shroud assembly from the bolt body an easy task. This tool fits the 40X, 600, 660, Model, 7, XP-100, 700, 721, XR-100 and 722 actions plus the Kelbly Stolle actions. Does not work for 40X rimfire actions.

This tool is designed to pull back and hold the cocking piece as the shroud, pin and spring assembly is unscrewed from the bolt body. This needs to be done to clean the assembly and apply new light oil several times a year. The bolt should also be disassembled and inspected if a primer cup may need to be removed from the bolt body.

The tool has a non-marring Delrin body and is very easy and fast to use. Most competitive shooters carry a bolt tool for their action to every match.

Tool works
Works and is fairly easy to use. Disassembled a Model Seven bolt. Tested on a Bergara B-14 but did not fit properly. Probably will not work on Remington clones. Rifle had misfired once. Disassemble showed a small amount of debris on the firing pin and in its space in the bolt.

Remington bolt tool
The Sinclair tool arrived in good time. It was packed in a nice storage container. Instructions for its use was included. It's made for a number of different Remington models, so it didn't sit perfectly on my 722. But it still made disassembly and reassembly a smooth operation.

Works on Christensen Arms rifle bolts
My Kleinendorst Rem 700 bolt tool did not fit properly on the Christensen Arms rifle bolts. This Sawyer bolt tool worked as advertised. It appears to be a solid product and did what I purchased it to do.
5
A tool in itself
Works as described. Doesn't need another tool. A must need for all bolt action rifles for easier bolt breakdown.

Remington Firing Pin Removal Tool
Right tool for the Job

Good tool for the job
Admittedly I hesitated in spending the money on this when there are tricks you can use to remove the firing pin without it. Im glad I did get it though. The first time I used this it was so easy I was immediately glad I got it. I remove my firing pin and ejector somewhat regularly to measure distance to the lands and for cleaning so the frequency of use makes it worth it for me.
