SINCLAIR BENCH MOUNT SCOPE STAND Reviews & Ratings

Our bench spotting scope stand employs two large clamping plates to lock the stand securely to the bench. A bench thickness of one fourth inch to 12 inches is easily accommodated. The scope mounting head moves smoothly up and down on the 18 inch stainless steel shaft for proper scope height adjustment. The head locks in place with a comfortable knob and contoured locking piece. The scope mounting head incorporates a double spring loaded adjusting mechanism which permits easy target acquisition. The scope mounting surface is designed to mount one fourth to 20 threaded scopes with a mating surface of 1 to three fourths by 2 to one fourth inch or less (almost all field and spotting scopes with threaded mounts). We usually mount the scope to the left side of the bench so all we have to do is move our head off the riflescope to view the results of our shooting. If you shoot off the bench using open sights or lower powered scopes, this is a piece of equipment that puts your spotting scope to great use.

FINALLY!

I've been trying to buy one of these for about a year, but they have always been out of stock. Two times I listed my email to notify me when back in stock. The first time I tried to order the same day as the notification, but they we already sold out. This time I was lucky and got one. It's perfect for me as my club rifle ranges have thick concrete bench tops.

Great stand, perfect with a few tweaks

Got the stand because I got tired of the space a scope stand took on the bench. It’s been a great aid in using a spotting scope both large (Pentax100) to small (Vortex 11-33). Tweaks I’ve done? -stronger elevation spring to steady large scopes. -qd arca clamp (made mounts for my scopes with aluminum flat bar stock) -stair tread tape on mounting plate -polymer foot on table clamping stud. After bring this the range a few times, my buddies bought their own stands too!

Clamps very well too the bench, there are others out on the market that cost less BUT you get what you pay for. I wish I purchased this a long time ago instead of buying cheap junk. Other questions on this sight talk about mounting their scope, it will mount just fine. It adjust wherever you want it to spot. UP, Down, Left, Right and it has very fine tuning up & down. You won't regret spending the extea $$. Your scope will stay on target !!!!

A friend bought one of these stands and I was admiring it so much I bought one. I really like the way I can adjust the angle of the scope once mounted on a bench rest stand.

Nice rig!

For years I have struggled with tripods just not doing the job at the range (nice concrete bench table). This will add convenience and stability. Met a fellow club member who was at the range a few years ago and he had this model and I fell in love with it. He told me where to get it and when my "toy" budget allowed I purchased it last week while on sale. Easy assembly. I did purchase the 323 Quick Change Rect Plate Adapter from B&H Photo (Mfg Manfrotto) as recommended by another reviewer. Easy to add. I am excited to go to the range this weekend. Now I need to save and buy a better spotting scope. Thanks.

Great, bulletproof product. A Sinclair!

Very sturdy and practical product. Carries easily, safely w/o movement my 4.6 lbs spotting scope. If I would change anything, I would add a quick release plate system to the vertical scope plate instead of the present screw mount. Of course I followed the lead of ELYLV's recommendation (see reviews) and ordered the Manfrotto 323 RC2 System from B & H also. Hopefully that will make it easier to attach the scope at the range etc.
