Just the thing needed for easy cleaning
This is exactly what I was looking for. It holds the two receiver sections at just the right angle for easy cleaning when using my Gun Butler stand.

A must have for the AR owner
I have 2 RRA 5.56 heavy barrel Varmint rifles. I use them on prairie dogs and clean them every day. The link holds the receiver in the perfect position to clean the barrel when the AR is held by a mag well block. The cleaning rod guide keeps the cleaning rod away from the neck area of the chamber, and keeps cleaning solvent away from the chamber. The guide fits tight in the entire chamber and in the receiver's bolt way. (Hint.. clean the chamber first, the the barrel.)

Don't clean your AR without this kit!
If you want to take proper care of your AR this is a must have item! The link in this kit is a brilliant design and the rod guide is a perfect fit. I own several Sinclair products and they are all high quality.
Buy it already!
This is one of those items that you don't realize you need it until you have it. Have no idea how I cleaned my AR's prior to this. I just use a receiver (magwell) vice block to hold the rifle in place, and easy as pie from there. Works great with my Dewey cleaning rod, and fits all of my ARs perfectly. If you have thought about this, but didn't purchase because it was "just a piece of plastic" just buy the set already! Glad I now have this in my shop!

The rod guide fits perfectly in my Stag Arms Model 6L allowing me to use the brush quickly without worrying about damaging my rod or barrel. It eliminates all flex in the rod. It also has a convenient opening to pour or spray in your cleaning agents. The Link kit holds the upper up for easy access and works as intended. This cut my cleaning time dramatically and is a must have for a benchrest shooter that likes to clean frequently.
