Damages Brass

I bought this for my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. The magazine is sturdy and allows long seating depths to be 0.015" off the lands with 140GR Hornady ELD's. I cannot load more than 7 rounds, any more than that the spring rate pops the additional rounds out of the mag. Scratches the brass full length and dents the brass at near the shoulder. Feeding is a constant hassle, you need to partially eject the mag to get it to feed, I cannot cycle the bolt when the mag is seated. I deburred and polished the inside edges the lips on the mag attempting to stop the deep scratches, that did not work. This was an expensive error.

Don't like these at all

Bought both a 5 and 10 round Accurate Mage 308 mags to use with a Remington 700 with a Mapul Hunter 700 stock and mag well. Tried the new setup out today, first with the Magpul magazine, worked like butter. Smooth feeds, just as I expected. Was hoping the Accurate Mag magazines would be even better. Huge disappointment. The follower is horrible. It tilts at an horrible angle making just loading the rounds a chore. Both the 5 and 10 round had the same follower issue. Could only get 8 rounds into the 10 round mag, and just gave up. Cycling a round into the chamber was horrible. The rounds simply nose right into the front of the mag, had use my finger to lift the nose up out of the magazine to get it to chamber. Subsequent rounds loaded a little easier, but not even close to how smooth the Magpul magazine. Had to sue the bolt as a battering ram with these mags on my setup. These may work well on other builds, but on a 700 with a Magpul Hunter 700 stock, I suggest you stay away from them.
