Barrel vise clamp
Grips great, doesn't mar. Balances on the vise making it easy to set up. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Works!
Used this to put a muzzle brake on a LR .308 carbon fiber heavy contour barrel. Used a little rosin for good measure. 25 ft lbs torque and no marring to barrel surface.

works well.
It did not fit the barrels I was working on as received (too loose). I cut a strip of leather that would fit in one side and that tightened it right up, I then had no problem tightening up the compensator against the crush washer. This thing works well... but it wont fit every barrel profile right out of the box.

Just works
I've had a set of these since the builder gave me a set in gunsmithing school. Haven't found much through the years that they won't hold.

So Easy A Caveman Can Use It
first off I am a Police armorer who works on various weapons platforms that my agency carries. I also have a gun business on the side that I do custom work. I purchased a set of the Accu-Grip vise jaws after having difficulty with the set that I had. WOW! what a difference these things were like a gift from heaven. They work well with H-Bars and Standard Barrel configs. I would highly recommend these to the professional or the novice building a black rifle. Well worth the money spent, you'll have less agravation in the long run.

Worked as advertised
Held the barrel, did not slip, did not mare the finish, very good tool. I bought this because I got a compensator for my M4, I removed the A2 flash hider with a strap wrench, but could not fully install the new compensator. Ordered this on a friday and got it on monday, pulled it out of the box, put the blocks in my vise, separated my upper and lower reciever, removed all the tactical toys off of the upper, set the barreled upper in the vise blocks, tightened the vise, put a wrench on my compensater and tightened it the rest of the way. Done! All in less time than it took me to type this and I was hobbleing around on crutches(softball injurie).

If you're removing a barrel, buy it!
First off, I'm not quite sure why this is advertised for AR-15's only-- a barrel is a barrel, and this should work fine for about any gun. I've removed barrels using this product, as well as plain-jane wood blocks that are channeled out. The gripping surface on this tool is far superior to plain wood-- and grip is what it's all about when referencing blocks and vises. It's worth the extra cost.

Great product but an FYI
Holds the barrel tight enough to torque on a Surefire flash hider at 20 to 30 ft/lbs. You just need to make sure to clamp down hard, don't be shy. FYI: My rubber inserts had aluminum flakes/chips imbedded on the inside. Had I not noticed, it most definitely would have taken off the Parkerizing if the barrel spun or at least leave marks. Make sure to check and/or clean the rubber if you're working on a client's gun. I make sure to be extra careful and put some leather in between.
