77 scope rail
Littler higher than I thought but looks good works really well
An excellent piece of engineering
A tidy and very nicely constructed solution to fitting larger scopes onto a M77 Ruger. Good instructions so easy to fit. And a big thumbs up for catering for overseas customers and not gouging them on postage. All in all, couldn't ask for more
Weigand Ruger M77 Picatinny Rail adapter
Initially tried to obtain Ruger 30mm scope rings, but stocking was affected by Covid induced manufacturing delays. Instead, elected to purchase the Weigand pic-rail adapter for Ruger M77 short action. This allowed picatinny/weaver scope mount commonality across all my firearms. The Weigand adapter comes with mounting hardware, and is a well-made piece. The only manufacturer request is to mill a lengthwise groove along the adapter to allow use of iron sites with scope dismounted. As is, one cannot get a good aim picture with iron sights and adapter. Another buyer recommendation is a QD scope mount for the pic adapter. Now the scope can quickly be attached, detached, and transferred to another rifle. Great combo.
Questionable customer service
Purchased the 20moa base for a M77 in 6 rem.(not from Brownells) Have multiple rifles with 20moa bases and have never had an issue until this one. After mounting to the rifle and trying to bore sight, could not get enough adjustment out of scope to zero at 100yrds. Talked to manufacturer and they state it is only meant to shoot from 500-1000yrds? Bad thing is, i had to mount it to realize it had this issue. Heres the kicker, After you mount it, it can no longer be returned. I watched videos and read the instructions and did not see anywhere this is meant for 500-1000yrd setups. Not only am i out my $, i had to buy the standard base too. The manufacturer was less than helpful and assumes that customers know the details of the 20moa. Kudos for a good product to improve OEM issues, but as a customer, there is no reason exchanges cannot be made for what is needed.
