Excellent Pistol
WOW, what a great handgun. Brownells was also the lowest price and very fast shipping. So far, only 25 rounds fired, no failures and very accurate. Also a nice trigger!

Great Handgun
With this pistol, Springfield has improved on an already great design. While I'm a big fan of the original, it did have some flaws: A heavy, creepy, trigger pull; inadequate sights and, worst of all; that useless "magazine safety". Springfield has upgraded the sights; the trigger pull is short, crisp, and consistent; and the magazine safety has been eliminated. The result is a pistol that is a pleasure to shoot. It points naturally and quickly, the weight is where it belongs - in the shooter's hand, the fixed sights are easy to pick up and well defined, and the pistol is more accurate than I am (even on a good day). After 500 rounds of everything from WWB 115 gn FMJ's to Underwood 124 gn +p JHP's, I've had zero malfunctions.
Just do it. You'll be glad you did.
SA-35
As good or better than the original P-35
Smooth Sale Easy Process
It was a pleasure dealing with Brownell’s. Very fast shipping. Great pistol and price
Everything I hoped it would be
The gun was everything I hoped it would be. The fit and finsh is excellent, the first time shooting the weapon was flawless. I used cheap russian ammo, factory loads and my reloads with no jams at all. I was pleased with my grouping, I wished I could of had a vise to see how small of a group this gun can do. I never owned a High-Power and I can see why it was so popular. SA did an excellent job, call me old fashion but you cannot beat the feel of iron and wood.
Just No
No, just no, unless you want a wall hanger. It is beautiful and feels great in the hand. But if you want it to shoot, forget it.
First, continuous extractor issues. Tried different ammo, (several types) and the fired cases stick in the chamber (even after a clean and polish) and they are hard to get out. This happens with each clip and with different clips.
Secondly, the trigger is awful. Too much take up and heavy and gritty after that. Far worse than any 1911 I have ever owned.
Sent it back to the factory and it came back unimproved.
Sure, I could buy a new extractor and trigger kit for $239.99, plus shipping and pay my smith a couple hundred to set it up but I am not interested in having twice the purchase price in a gun that should have functioned properly, out of the box.
Remember: your life could depend on this gun. I will not carry it, and will not risk my life on it.
