RUGER® REVOLVER FIRE SIGHT FIBER OPTIC SIGHT SETS

RUGER® REVOLVER FIRE SIGHT FIBER OPTIC SIGHT SETS Reviews & Ratings

Direct replacements for factory sights on popular handguns gather ambient light for superb visibility. The more light, the brighter the rods glow. 3-dot sight picture; front sight has red insert, rear has two green inserts. The Fire Sights for guns originally equipped with fixed sights are also fixed. If the gun was originally equipped with an adjustable rear sight, the Fire Sight will be adjustable.

FIREARM SOLUTIONS GUN REPAIR
I installed a set of these on my Ruger Old Model Single-Six that was made in 1965 ,they are very well made, easy to install . Big improvement over factory sights. Showed them to some customers, they had me put them on various makes and model firearms including a Marlin 336.So far everyone has been pleased with them,no negative feed back. If installed on an older single-six like mine the front sight is a little tall. But at 25yds they adjusted in well

work great
Easy to install. Went to the range today to sight in after installing. For these aging eyes they work far better than the factory sights. I'm glad I did it!!!!

Would recommend awesome sight !
I just purchased a new single six ruger and the sights black on black are hard to see. Ordered the new fire sights and WOW !! The sights were easy to install found a screw driver that fit the screws. Did not have a punch to remove retaining pin for rear sight so I depressed the sight and used a small staple that I straightened to push the pin out. Swapped the springs to the new sight and reinstalled pin in new sight. Took more time to straighten the staple than it did to install the sights. Can't wait to shoot. THANKS BROWNELLS FOR THE FAST DELIVERY AND WILLIAMS FOR THE GREAT PRODUCT.

New sights for boring revolver
I installed these sights an a 90's model Ruger Redhawk that belonged to my Father-in-law. Wow, what a difference these make compared to the factory sights! Very easy to pick up with the eye, and easier to get on target. I only gave them 4 stars because it's been too cold out to shoot, but I am sure they will adjust to be spot on.

Good sights that have lasted, see review
I swapped these sights from my factory gp100 sights. These sights go on very easy and it would likely take an average person to get these swapped out in a short period of time (e.g. a minute or two). I noticed that my grouping tightened up some and my target picture acquisition was much quicker. One can make use of these sights in near dusk and dawn conditions and still shoot accurately. Lastly the I have had this particular set of sights on my gp100 for almost 6 years now and they are still going strong. I have put over 9000 rounds of 38 and at least 4000 rounds of 357 through my pistol and the sights are as accurate today as when I placed it on there. The reasoning I gave these sights a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating is that I like having very robust sights. This stems from my time when I was active duty and have seen how soldiers treat their weapons from time to time. The front sight in this particular instance, to me, appears to be the weak point if one were to drop it from a medium to high distance onto a hard surface. I don't believe they are flimsy, yet the design should make the user be careful of their front post. I have yet to break mine, but I also have not allowed it to be dropped.

Positively love these sights, want more
I got these in couple days, and installed them basically in my lap with a small screwdriver. Very easy. But the real deal was that I shot better at the range because my 61 year old eyes could easily see the sights, especially the front sight. Stock Ruger front sight has red block, but it does not go all the way to the top, so sometimes I sighted on top of red blocks sometimes on top of stainless sight, depending on background. Now I want to see if I can find a set for my Mark I bull barrel .22.

Very disappointed with these sights.
I eagerly anticipated getting these sights for my Redhawk. I double checked I was ordering the correct ones. As others have mentioned, they are an easy install. Target acquisition much easier. The problems started when I went to use them. I was using target loads to begin with, it was shooting quite high. Lowered the sights but still shooting high. I bottomed out the sights and they are still high. Tried 240 gr. Hornadays and they are shooting quite high as well. I assume the front sight is too low. So, as they are, not much use to me. Very disappointed.
