Works great
Reduces vibration and "ting" from bolt slamming to the rear of the factory pin.
Easy Protection
Tight fit into the reciever, so don't have to worry about movement. I don't notice a feel in recoil or action, but it's in a 10/22 (a smooth operating, light recoiling gun). It nearly eliminated the clang from the bolt impacting the factory pin. This product is very durable and has taken thousands of rounds without showing wear. I recommend for the cheap insurance and peace of mind.
Like it!
No issues so far. Gun functions normally, installation/removal is more difficult than the stock steel pin, but not unreasonable so. I used a knife to taper one end so it would start easier. I have installed on all my 10/22's and will install one on all future 10/22's.
good product
reduces clank of receiver, easy to install
Disapointed
I was very interested in what this product had to offer. Installed it and immediately had problems with the rifle cycling. It wouldn't pick up the next round. I took the rifle apart at the range to see if I had installed it wrong but since there is only one way it goes in that was not the case. Installed the factory steel pin and had zero failures. I feel this is a gimick for a problem that doesn't really exist. It would be nice to quiet the noise but I'm not going to sacrifice the reliability the 10/22 has.
Absolute garbage
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Doesn't fit, had to trim one end. Do yourself a favor and buy the KIDD bolt buffer, that's what I'm doing at half the price.
