I use these with the Magpul Paraclip, depending on which one works for the angle and obstructions. The precise fit of the two halves of the RSA always amaze me. I happen to be a Mtn Climber and therefore have switched all my rifles and shotguns to Hk clips. The downside of any non-locking gate is roll out rarely it can in-clip itself, just be aware of them like any non-locking carabiner. Personally though, Hk clips provide utmost confidence as they work gritty and dirty, unlike QD, and with practice the gates are super fast. One negative is noise, when slacked it rattles a bit.

A Must Have
Amazing product. Will not falter. Will not fail. It's as solid as the A2 FSP. Reading most comments, i notice everyone who complains about it are the ones who attach it on funky side angles. I'm almost positive this was specifically designed to be placed in the top rail. Hence it being flat and LoPro. And it angles the attachment point down to the side and away from front sight. Avsolutely no con's. You will want this on your AR15. P.s. ignore the post by the guy that said you can attach QD mounts to this because you absolutely can not. Theres no circle input to provide such an application.
Very versatile sling mount
I bought this to use on my duty AR. Once in hand I started getting ideas. This is avery versatile mount. I now use one on the 12 o'clock rail of my Steyr Scout rifle, a Ruger GunSite Scout rifle, and both my personal and duty AR rifles, and am buying more for my son's rifles. It is rugged and places the sling in a very useful location.
Not for rail attached to AR15 front sigh
Purchased in the hope I could attach MS3 sling to installed rail of front sight post on AR15A2 rifle. While the RSA fit perfectly on the rail and is well made, the RSA has a 45degree offset toward the rifle centerline. When a paraclip was attached it slightly blocked the left wing of the front sight post and became a distraction when aiming. It would have been great if it offset was in the opposite direction. I had to return it.

Another Awesome Innovation From Magpul
I ordered this Magpul Rail Sling Attachment specifically for review for my fellow firearm entusiasts. I used this sling attachment on my newest AR-15 build. As always, Magpul never ceases to bring new innovative products to the firearms market. Sling attachment has an excellent finish and is very high quality. It is very heavy duty and it shows. The sling attachment installs very easily to any part of your 1913 picatinny rail, by simply removing the allen screw. It works perfectly with Magpul's MS2 sling or any quick detach sling you may already have. If you would like to have a very high quality sling attachment that can be moved for different applications, then this is it! Highly recommended.

if you run the MS2 sling or do not have a regular sling ring on your front sight then this is a must for a 2 point configuration. light weight and easy to install and move.
