Excellent
Shooting out of my Ruger Old Army, these are by far the most accurate. Precision made, really nice.
Like the .455 lead balls
Cap and ball after putting the wad in the ball fits snug peeling just a small ring of lead to seal so you dont have to use any grease makes for a more enjoyable day
HDY 50cal (.495) lead balls
I use the HDY .495 round balls in two competition bench muzzle loading rifles. The quality of these round balls has been consistent over the years. I do weigh and separate the balls by weight, which I find not much variance in weight. They are consistent winners, great product.
Uberti 1851 perfect fit.
These fit the 1851 Uberti perfectly.
the best in the w n s e
good all around lead ball for my muzzleloader that all I got say
good quality bullets.
Bought these bullets for my new acquired Uberti 1847 Walker. I haven't owned a cap and ball pistol in about 20 years and this would be a nice reentry into the hobby. Bullets are as expected packed bulk in a bag in the box shiny and clean. they are sized properly. Checked with mic's and they are very round. Keep in mind 45 caliber balls for cap and ball come in sizes from .449 to .459 and a good place to start is with a .454 round ball. Uberti walkers are known to run better on .457 round balls and Remington 1858's are known to run better on 451 to 454's it all based on the bore size of the barrel. you need to be .001 Larger than the bore so the bullet will properly size to the bore when shot. this will reduce leading reduce your cleaning time an increase your fun.
HORNADY 454 ROUND LEAD BALLS
VERY HAPPY WITH THESE BULLETS. MUCH PREFER OVER THE CAST BULLETS. I USE THESE IN COPY OF COLT WALKER AND HAVE BEEN QUITE PLEASED. THEY LOAD MODERATELY EASY. CHECKED WEIGHT OF SEVERAL AND FAIRLY UNIFORM WEIGHT. I FOUND NO FLAT OR MISFORMED BALLS....
