TSNGT500H Bore scope
Great product. Not sure why I waited so long to get one. Very clear and shows level of cleanliness. Glad I made the purchase.

Another added option
I bought the 26-in version but after using it a little bit on handguns I wanted to go with a shorter rod so I bought the NTG100P 10" Rigid. And it connected right up just like the 26-in rod does and it works a lot better on handguns instead of having to use the 26-in. So for anybody that gets the 26 inch and decides to get the 10-in for handguns all you have to do is unscrew the probe and screw in the other one and you're good to go

I've always wanted a borescope but they were way out of my price range. This borescope is exactly what I needed from what little bit I have messed with it I am very impressed

Teslong 26" Rigid Borescope is a must have
I recently purchased the 26 inch Teslong Rigid Borescope through Brownells. This is a quality tool, producing sharp clear images of rifle barrels. I have a recently purchased 22 rimfire that was shooting what I considered unacceptable accuracy. A call to the manufacturer was disappointing. I was told the rifle's accuracy was 'within factory specifications'. After receiving the borescope, I looked at the bore and discovered several areas that were problems. I took photos with the borescope and sent them to the manufacturer. The rifle is now back to the manufacturer for repair. I also viewed several other barrels and discovered my cleaning regimen was not up to 'white glove' standards. If you are serious about firearm maintenance, this is a must have piece of kit. I also purchased a 10 inch pistol version after using the rifle version. A quality product for the serious shooter.

Good news/ Bad news
The good news is that this product gives clear, sharp views of the inside of a rifle's barrel. The bad news is that you may see clear, sharp views of things that you would rather not see. As a case in point, several years ago I bought a used rifle at what seemed to be a good price. It never gave better than mediocre accuracy no matter what was done. When the Teslong borescope became available, I bought one, and the first look at that rifle's bore told the tale. The throat was severely eroded for more than an inch, with many small cracks in the steel. None of this was visible, even using a bore light. Now, I'm in the market for a new barrel. I just wish that I had access to a borescope before I laid out the money for that rifle.

Good news/ bad news
First, the good news. The bore scope gives clear, sharp views of the insides of a rifle's barrel. The bad news? It gives clear, sharp views of the barrel' insides, and all of the defects. Several years ago, I bought a used rifle, and it never gave more than indifferent accuracy. When I used the scope for the first time, I found out why. The first six inches of rifling is full of cracks and the chamber throat and rifling origin are severely eroded. Without a bore scope, none of this would be visible. Now, I'm going to have to get a new barrel.

Teslong Review
Assembled a new 308 barrel/upper, gas block was Aero's adjustable .750 with the set screws on the bottom. Used Kaw Valley gas block jig to drill the set screw points. Assembled the gas block and wanted to try out the Teslong rigid bore scope to see just how close it all came together. Assembled the Teslong scope and put it in the barrel. Everything was perfect. Can't believe how clear the bore scope is, with adjustment of the light to get the right picture. Definitely going to use the Teslong bore scope more often for other projects. WOW!!

Good but
For the money the Teslong bore scopes are hard to beat. Image quality is very good and they have many uses in the firearms and reloading field. The only reason im rating a four and not a five is in comparison to the fold and focus models, of which i also use. The fold and focus are much easier to instantly focus using the focus adjustment built into the rod. The rigid requires turning the mirror while trying to find its best focus, then securing the position with the lock ring. If Teslong would add the fold and focus' focus ring fearure to the rigid rod that would be awesome.
