Undersized

Bought for use on a Marlin 1895G Guide Gun. Fit was so loose it could be slipped in with no friction with finger pressure. Used a sharp punch to raise dimples in 5 or 6 spots on the bottom and it gave enough friction to stay in place with Loctite. Shame it does not fit better, as it is a good looking rear sight replacement when adding Skinner sights.

Almost...

It would have been exactly what I was looking for to fill the dovetail in a Marlin 336... but the Rifle Decorative Slot Blank was undersized.

Too loose

I bought this for a Ruger 10/22 that I upgraded with Williams sights for my son. The product looks nice and well made, but it doesn't have the edges like the picture and it's too loose...just slides in and out. I'll try some red loctite. If that doesn't hold it, it's going back.

Not as pictured

I bought three of these to use in classic lever action rifles. The blanks I receive are not like the photo. The pictured blanks have a nice scalloped edge giving them an old time classic look. The blanks I received have a nearly square edge, very slightly beveled. Also, the finish is a fairly rough brushed blued. They just don't look very nice. I am returning them.
