Best Looking Slot Blank Out There

I like the fact that it is slightly undersize. Just use a small center punch and a tap on the bottom side to expand the metal and it will be a perfect fit.

Good Looking Piece of Kit

Lovely filler but the dovetail was too large for direct use in my Winchester Model 52A when the Lyman Model 17 front sight was removed. Will require fitment.

Nice

Easily fit into the slot for a Husqvarna 1640. Bluing is fine, the only issue is it sits up farther than I would've like (from top of barrel to bottom of the insert. The spread could easily be halved without any fitment problems. Still better than a blank. Way better.

Decorative sight blank

After first getting a wrong order from Brownells and returning it at my expense, then re-ordering this item, I figure this little part cost me around $55. Then it is too small and stands way too proud above the barrel of my new Henry Big Boy. And will take too much shimming and fitting to make it worthwhile. Absolutely NOT, I do not recommend !
