What Reviewers Are Saying
Fit Issues
75%
Numerous reviewers encountered significant fit problems, with grips being either oversized or undersized. This recurring complaint highlights the crucial need for more accurate fit specifications to ensure usability for customers, particularly for specific models like the new Vaquero.
Material Quality
65%
A prevalent concern across the reviews is the poor quality of the resin used. Customers reported that the grips felt soft, warped, and even emitted a chemical smell, raising doubts about their durability and making them unsuitable for practical use.
Installation Challenges
60%
Installation proved challenging for many, with reviewers noting defects such as warped panels and mismatched screw holes. This added frustration implies that modifications are often necessary before these grips can be properly mounted.
Aesthetic Appeal
40%
Despite the functionality issues, some users appreciated the looks of the grips, particularly their stag design, emphasizing that while they may look visually appealing, that alone is insufficient to warrant a purchase due to the practical shortcomings.
Value for Money
35%
While a few reviewers mentioned the grips as being great value for the price, many feel that the quality does not reflect the cost, suggesting that customers would be better served by investing in a higher-quality product for reliable use.

Uberti Model P grips
Great value for the price. Good looking grips, Easy to install, ridge on interior side of grip panels help prevent the grip from slipping if it loosens up. Would buy again.
3
Soft material.
The grips fit well. They look exactly like the picture. The problem is the material is so soft that the revolver frame pegs that make the grips fit... the holes get stripped out. My guess is these are being made on a 3D printer and the resin is just super soft. They are ok for a display weapon. Tactically wouldn't have these grips on my revolver at the range.
3
Need some work.
Both grips are a little under-size and do not come even with the edge of the frame. The left side seems to be a bit warped and leaves a gap between grip frame and the grip. Like my headline says they need some work to make them useable, maybe. If they were a little oversized I could fit them, polish and install some good looking ivory grips.

won't fit
they don't fit a new vaquero close enough to fit angles wrong, over sized just won't work

Poor Quality
Very poor quality of resin. The right panel was warped and no hardware installed in the grip to install a screw . I thought about truing them up , but the material is of very poor quality and decided to send them back , keep in mind this is the only thing I have ever returned to Brownells .

Not so good,,,
When I was fitting them they smelled like solvent or paint thinner,,and they are soft, very soft, wasn't cured maybe? will not tighten up on the gun,,screw tries to pull though . you can push it back though ,,,like they are made of gummy bears,,, Horrible ..

Really Awful
Really awful quality, not up to Brownell's usual standards. Stay away.

Don't get confused
Confused. Could not distinguish that these grips will not fit the new vaquero. Add needs to be more specific. They are cheap and they look cheap.

"New Vaquero" Grips (Poor Quality & Fit)
The price and Stag look of these grips are what sold me. However, the fit is terrible on them. I truly wish that I would have just sent them back but, after 3 hours of filing the edges and filling the locating holes with epoxy and re-drilling them to optimize the fit, I was determined to get them to fit only to find out that the mounting screw holes didn't match up either and the screw that they give you is not long enough to even work. Porous holes in grips wavy edges & back mounting surfaces with defects and dents on edges. One Star is to much for these but it's the min. Sorry

Don't buy for New Vaquero
The sepc says these fit new small frame Vaqueros made in 2005 and later. They do not. They fit old large frame Vaqueros. Quality is poor as well
