I wanted an oem Remington barrel but couldn’t find one. That worked out perfectly because this barrel is built to better standards anyway. Better fit and finish and threaded for remchoke. Real brass bead and a spring loaded ball detent for older 870s without the plastic magazine spring retainer. Very happy

Fantastic quality for a reasonable price! Finish matches the rest of my 870 and it looks factory finished. My existing Rem Chokes screwed in just fine. Seems to function as it should. Very pleased!

barrel was packaged well, in sealed package. Shipping took forever, due to USPS, not Brownell. Unfortunately it was the wrong barrel, and had to be returned. Return process was easy. Ordered correct barrel, waiting for arrival

Bought the 870 front sight 18 inch for my Remington 870 "Wingmaster" 3 " Magnum. Now I have a bird gun and a tactical shotgun. Fit was fine. Shot low brass, game loads , 000 3 " buckshot and slugs through it. No issues and the patterns were also very good.

Got this to breath new life into an old Nova and it now does duty as a home def shotgun. Before considering this new barrel part of this solution, I ran the equivalent of a case of ammo (3 and 3.5") and it did not fail. Would buy again.

This is the only barrel I could find for my Wingmaster in 18 1/2" with screw in chokes and bead sight. I primarily hunt in swamps and needed a short quick handling barrel. I was apprehensive purchasing a barrel made in Turkey but the machining is equal to that of my 1960's factory barrel. The matte finish matches the polished blue of my shotgun reasonably well, more so than an Express barrel. Fits perfectly and cycles 2 3/4" shells no problem. I have not used 3" shells. The bore is very well finished. Removed the choke and blasted out whatever grit was in the threads and it's good to go.
